I just want to take a minute to point something out. Phil is an even bigger idiot than it appears for spending $40,000+ on a mobile wrestling game. If Phil had incorporated this shitty game in his streams from the beginning, he'd be in a much better position for it.
One, positivity: It's a topic he's passionate about. His streams would be way more entertaining because his enthusiasm would rub off on the stream. His fans would be happier and probably more open with their wallets because Phil is happy and in a good mood, and he might actually get more people to watch just by not being a miserable prick.
Two, interaction: He's actually knowledgeable about wrestling. His streams would probably be full of shitty trivia that not many people know, every wrestler that would come up Phil would probably have a little known story to share. He could actually interact with his chat, someone would ask a wrestling question and he'd spend 10 minutes answering, instead of the one word answers he gives when someone asks him a question about anything else (unless of course it's something he's trying to hide).
Three, money: Most importantly, Phil's $40,000+ mobile game habit would probably be subsidized by Scopley. If Phil is having consistent, actually positive interactive streams, you know goddamn well they'd throw him free shit. It literally costs them nothing to give Phil a half naked sweaty man, but if Phil's streams encourage even one person to buy something in the game, it's 100% profit for Scopely.
Ironically WWE Champions could have fixed Phil's life, that's the best part. He wouldn't hate streaming so much, he'd be more likable, he'd be making more money, and he wouldn't have to hide the one thing that gives him enjoyment. But instead, Phil is a goddamn shortsighted idiot, so we are where we are now.
Nice job Phil.
