The fuck is he talking about? He had never owned /r/y_s until he bought it in 2018. "Admins restored the subreddit to me" my ass.

I am kind of confused. He created a new heavy censored subreddit, r/Yanderesimulatornew, but they are also using r/yanderesimulator, that got abandoned. Which one are they using now? Is Alex going to divide his ever tinier fanbase now?

Another thing, browsing in the new official (?) subreddit I found this post with participation of YanDev and Cleveland, with pretty interesting responses: https://www.reddit.com/r/yanderesim...uine_question_in_regards_to_the_tree_example/

I also clicked the link (https://www.yanderesimulator.com/about/) to see the FAQ of YanSim and let me tell you is the longest and worst organized FAQ I have ever seen. Just browsing it is tiring.

Edit: Was gonna post screenshots but the resolution is too low and can't be bothered to do it again, see the post by yourselves.

I guess /r/yanderesimulator. I'm not actually certain if /r/yanderesimulatornew is theirs or whether it's a spoof community, now that you mention it. If it is, perhaps it's for the most trusted of his community? It would explain why you have to directly contact them, and they can peek into a user's post history and let them in or ban them based on that.

I've noticed threads with slightly jabby titles in /r/yanderesimulator aren't getting removed, like this one:
However only because Alex and Adolfin directly responded, Alex with the usual shpiel of "it's not done yet".

Also sweet Mary of christ, 4gig minimum to run a glorified MMD game.

Clearly they're being very dilligent in the community still, even though Alex really shouldn't be because he has work to be doing.

What was he supposed to say? "I got so desperate that I was willing to offer $1,000 for control over that subreddit, but then haggled with myself and bumped the price up to $3,000"?

Since autism is always on-topic:

>32-bit executables have "a bunch of crash bugs"
A 32-bit program/CPU/OS is limited to an address space of 2^32 bytes, which is exactly 4 GiB. In other words, a 32-bit program is incapable of using more than 4 GiB of memory at any one time. I'm convinced that the "crash bugs" are caused by Alex's shitcode exhausting the 32-bit address space.

Of that 4GB address space, Windows is going to reserve 2GB of that for itself (barring some exceptions which won't apply to end-users) leaving only 2GB for userland.

I talked to yandere dev twice, first trying to give the nerd a chance by asking legitimate questions about his motivation and drive and how he went about growing an audience.

The second time I attempted to thank him for his advice which was actually somewhat sound, told him about my idea in which everyone except him thought was a good concept for a video. (I'm still working on the video in question but it's on backburner) and he proceeded to get extremely mean and rude almost like a 180, I responded politely saying that I appreciate the criticism and that it was an opinion followed by "I'm sorry you feel that way" to which he actually stopped dead in his tracks unable to respond without looking like a douche.

I oughta tell that story, but that's if yall are interested in a video about my experience with him.

"nOt ReAlLy a FaN iF yOuR [sic] gIvInG bOlD cRiTiCiSm"

"I don't agree with getting criticism, even when it's necessary for someone to improve! Woe is me!"

It's almost infuriating how blatantly uncaring Alex is for his fanbase, he doesn't give two blue shits about the fans, yet the fans lap it up and continue to support him.

I get that most are just kids who are fans of the game in the sense that they were fans of FNAF (they didn't care for the game they cared for the fanart, OCs, everything around it) but there's teenagers out there, and grown adults who see this and go "Yep! That's how a developer should treat his fans!"

Funny how my questions for him were about himself, not his game, and he doesnt get upset about them.

Egotistical bastard.

Let the hate flow through you.
I think it's worth to mention that the creator of Lovesick just confirmed that they created the game from scratch in two weeks. There's no proof until we get a build but for now.. :story: To be fair, there's nothing in Alex' code that's even worth to steal. Time will tell if this project will rise or die.

I decided to join the Love Sick Discord when the trailer first came out to keep tabs on the development and the place has swiftly become inundated with weirdos and children. Users went from around 50 to roughly 1.2k in under 24 hours, and the number of mods went from 0 to 9 in half the time. They still seem to be having trouble keeping up with the sheer amount of autism being posted. It's almost impressive how well this concept works as a shit magnet.

In a span of a couple fucking days...

What's funny is that now we know he paid for his "sucky placeholder trees".
See YandereSimulator-development\Assets\Store-Bought Models\LowPolyTrees

EDIT: well, the next level down is "Free Trees" so I dunno, maybe they were a freebie in the store?
