They fucking are. This is the most broken English I've seen in a chapter so far. BeastSmoke, whoever they are, fucking sucks at translating.
Eren literally looks like a claw machine or a fucking drone. How the fuck he moves at all with arms that skinny and small is baffling. No wonder he was going so slow. Christ, he looks worse than the Ross!Titan.

It was. Titans go inactive in the dark, or in/underwater. The only known exception to this is titan-shifters. If I had to guess, these titans are only swimming because Eren's god powers made them.
Or Isayama forgot.

It looks like hes using his rib cage bones to walk like a giant centipede. Theres so many different designs Isayama could have used for Erens Devil Titan/Final Boss but he went with the most ridiculous design possible.

So aside from reminding us that Isayama has no idea how to make someone scary, what was the point of making the Wall Titans swim?
At first I thought the cannons could damage them, so they dived to avoid fire, and then attacked while the ships were reloading. I thought it was kinda dumb how these unstoppable avatars of vengeance are able to be hurt by ordinary weapons, but the way they dodged and retaliated was a clever strategy, if stupid as fuck looking, so it evened out.
But then the next shot shows cannon fire doesn't even slow them down, so why fucking bother dodging what can't hurt you?

I feel bad for my friends who are looking forward to the next (final?) series, it just sounds like Isayama couldn't think of a good idea of how the Titans came about and cobbled together a shitty mess trying to answer too many questions at once.

Either Isyama hasn't finalized the design yet or hes trying to emulate the spinal cord looking worm that infected Ymir in the past and her original Titan form of a black skeleton.
I've been thinking on it and my mind has wandered to other scenes where the monster or Devil emerges to destroy the world. Chernabog in Night on Bald Mountain is a mountain peak come to life standing over the world as he unleashes his hordes for the night, he's big, tall, imposing, muscular, his wings make him look bigger than he is, he's in silhouette with bright gleaming eyes that stand out. The moment he appears you know he's a terrifying presence outside the understanding of the mortal world. Another example would be Ghidorah from KOTM where human soldiers armed with machine guns watch as a three headed, multi-tailed, winged monstrosity slowly emerges one limb at a time from under its icy prison in Antarctica in the middle of a snowstorm. This is something unnatural they're witnessing and when they fire their guns at the giant dragon, he just nonchalantly shrugs it off before obliterating them in a blast of lightning like he's bored with their efforts. We are nothing but insects to this freed Devil.
With Eren his army of Titans goes from avoiding artillery fire in a comical fashion to shrugging it off like it was nothing meaning that we the audience don't know if we should fear the Wall Titans because they're intelligent or because they're invincible and render even our mightiest weapons useless when faced before them. Erens Titan form, while creepy looking, doesn't give off any intimidating vibes, it lacks any volume and has thin limbs so there's nothing really intimidating about it. Compare that to the monsters I mentioned above where Chernabog and King Ghidorah are massive creatures that alter the world around them just by their mere presence vs Eren whose skeletal form doesn't give him the imposing presence a Devil needs.

I waited till the translation came out. I genuinely liked the colossal march and loved eren's titan super duper founder attack titan design, he was appropriately evangelion'ey but still attack on titan'ey. idk what historia's deal is though. she disagrees then she's all "but if i have a kid it's fine" wat.
