one thing you need to remember about Tacitus is that he himself was a kike, and a follower of the cult of Saturn, or to use another term, the cult of Moloch. In addition, the English translation of Tacitus' text leaves out a lot of the stuff that he talks about, or deliberately obfuscates it. I'd recommend picking up the original Latin text and giving it a look, if you haven't already. It's debated whether or not the Germanic tribes mentioned by Tacitus specifically executed men merely for homosexuality or using that as a pretext for executing them on grounds of infidelity and failing to sire a male heir.
Traditionally, the ancient Germanic tribes believed fathering children (especially sons) to be one of the key components of manhood and IIRC, the bulk of the bog mummies from Tacitus's time were females while many of the male bog corpses tended to be from the later Migration and Viking eras so the whole "killing gays and throwing them in bogs" may have been a case of "killing adulterers and throwing them in bogs, and some of these adulterers happened to be gay"
Also, one of the key issues with records of pagan Celtic and Germanic societies is that so many of the records were written by Christians with a clear agenda of supporting the church and justifying the authority of the church and the aristocracy that had patronage with it.
This is why Tacitus's works on Germania are so important as they are one of the few extant pre-Christian written sources, and why they have been interpreted and analyzed by so many writers, scholars, and historians
you're completely right about him being a valuable source of information, but always remember that the information he gives is equivalent to a kike bragging about the success of kikes at that period in Roman history, which is precisely why he despises the German tribes that exhibit healthy familial attitudes with strong paternal figures.
In essence, Tacitus' works are recorded proof that the modus operandi of Trump's chosen hasn't changed at all for a fucking millennia.
