Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

How can one reform it in any way without it ending up as corrupt as it was before? It is a UN entity, the entirety of the UN is a corrupt, irredeemable, useless shit show. Do you think that a part of the UN will magically become un-corrupt because of a Plan to reform it?
It's paywalled now, but I read a good article on how the US and its allies should reform the WHO, which included withdrawing from the organization. I thought it was good idea, had 0 chance of being implemented.
Good also LUL TRUSTING CNN.
Can you name anything wrong with the article, beyond its source?

Also, Proctor & Gamble, headquartered in Cincinnati has launched a new add campaign in partnership with the state. I'm sure it has nothing to do with them expanding their mask production.

I really wish these people can fuck off with their scolding and nagging. It's bad enough that they're dragging this thing out for as long as they can and fucking with our livelihoods, they can stand to make less of these condescending ads and commercials (especially after they've been running interference for those riots).

The entire premise from the start maybe? You remember how the Patriot Act was passed to "prevent the terrorizms" and it was never actually used for that and instead was used to justify the NSA Data Collection shit? And the NSA Data collection is just the scummy shit we found out about, imagine the ways our rights are being infringed upon that we don't even know because it is classified.

Contact Tracing is that times a million. Imagine how they will spy on us when they can actually fully trace each person we will be in contact with. Unless you are actually retarded enough to believe that data won't end up in the hands of the government.

Are you actually that stupid?

I thought it was good idea
No "World" groupings are ever a good idea, the League of Nations, Nato, the UN, the EU..all have proven to be absolutely..completely worthless over the past 7 decades.

Don't forget the Catholic church for at least the past 6 centuries, the Orthodox and Protestant churches were wise to separate from them,

I wish I could. It feels like my biggest accomplishment in my 20 years of living, getting a really high GPA in a STEM field, has completely gone down the drain, and people are just giving me powerlevel ratings, telling me to stop being an angsty faggot, or saying it's my fault for doing better than others because we should all be suffering equally under communism. I try doing other things but it has literally no effect on my mood.

Nigga u ain't even out of the tutorial level of life. Life is gonna throw you lots of curve balls as you get older. Wilting like a daisy at the first sign of adversity isn't conducive to success. Get good at adapting or else.

It has been proven through the magic of statistics that deaths are NOT increasing with case count, and that states are, rather predictably, overreacting. Again. Police in many of those states refuse to enforce these laws and lawsuits are already flying.

You would know this if you had bothered to actually read the various pieces of evidence posted in this thread.

I tried grappling with that mentality before, but the leftists and experts are fucking hellbent on destroying me psychologically. I spend at least an hour a day just lying in bed and staring at the ceiling because I can't deal with anything and everyone's either calling me an angsty teenager or grandma killer.

Mate, as someone who snapped in his early 20s shortly after graduating from a stem field: The only useful advice I can give is to make sure that whenever and however you snap, do it in a way you can come back from. It may take a week or two for the catharsis to kick in, and you may be coming back to a hell of a mess, but more likely than not you will be coming back. So keep the snapping at a level of technically legal, or undetectable crimes, and keep it all not permanently debilitating.

Roger that. We lost Rhodesia, about to loose South Africa because of the UN.

Not even counting WHO’s complicity in the Ronascam.

LON was Hitler’s bitch. Perfectly useless.

I do think the Red Cross does some good.

That is because each Red Cross has a chapter for it's own nation and actually has to go a good job. The moment they stop being good at their job donations stop rolling in. The US covers the bill for all these Organizations all while they do nothing and fuck us in the ass. The US should have dropped the WHO like a brick the moment a Beurocrat from one of the most corrupt nations on the planet with NO ACTUAL MEDICAL TRAINING got put in charge.

Have you tried going outside more? I like to go walk in the waves and feel the wind at the beach when the internet fight gets to be too much for me. It helps a lot. The wild world doesn't care about Covid and will still be there whenever our petty human attempts to sort this out have all failed or succeeded.
Going hiking always does wonders for making me emotionally centered.

So for an Ohio update, not only has the Butler county sheriff said he's not enforcing the mask order, the Cincinnati police department has said that while they support the governor's mask order, it's a health related order, so call in violations to the health department, not them.

Christ above though, the dumbasses that think that DeWine's orders are laws make me sad. They also don't seem to grasp that county and local sheriffs are elected, and Butler county's is well liked for being relatively no bullshit.

My coworkers were tu tutting everyone else on the mask order today, and lost their shit when I suggested to them that the authorities would never enforce this. How would they? Would they REALLY pull their patrol car over and run over to someone on a sidewalk to give them a $25 ticket? Were they going to post officers at every public plaza and company? The proclamation is utterly unenforceable, but the mask-worshipers cant see through their own biases.

In a way you've answered your own question. Officially it isn't really be feasible to enforce it by law, but enough of the population has been sufficiently brainwashed by the mask propaganda that they'll do all the "policing" instead on the behalf on the state's Little Dictator(s).

*insert meme of sweating man choosing between calling cops for mask violations button versus defunding the cops button*

That would be a terribly sneaky bastard tactic, if only they hadn't alienated so much of the population on masks. Their back and forth on mask effectiveness and necessity and the virus' cases itself has many people flipping the state off at any opportunity. Outside of the elderly I hardly see anyone wearing them, even workers I often see without them.

At this point it's like that old leadership thing about not giving orders you know won't be followed. He has to know a large chunk of the state isn't going to follow the order and he has no serious means to enforce it. I mean, if people actually get fined the lawsuits are going to flow anyways and he risks the courts telling him his orders are bullshit. Because they are, the numbers he's using are massively gamed bullshit and a large chunk of the state knows it. The mask worshippers are the same morons that two months ago were acting like testing would solve all the problems. Now masks will, even though they haven't any where else.

For fuck's sake, there aren't even a 1000 COVID patients in the the hospitals. In a state of almost 12 Million.

That shit might work in a hipster lefty city like Columbus, but I wouldn't want to try to go all mask brigade in any of the more rural counties. Shit, even in parts of Butler county you'd be asking for trouble. I don't even know who you'd report them too, the elected sheriffs may be polite enough to not laugh in your face.

I've seen more in certain areas of Butler county, Clermont was a bit higher then it had been, but I'm also judging from both of the Jungle Jim's and that's going to attract a crowd that's more given to mask wearing.

The stats wont matter to the mask-worshipers, who deny all logic and information that does not agree with them. I know DeWine said he wont run again but whomever he endorses is going to be fighting an uphill battle.

I've seen more in grocery stores, but thats it. Outside of that I dont see them hardly anywhere.

I've heard the plan was to push Husted, but I feel like his political career may have gotten wrecked by proximity to DeWine. I certain won't vote for DeWine's bitch boy. The mask worshipers are screaming that the adults in law enforcement are telling them to pound sand, but I'm not really surprised. I'm pretty sure every one I've seen is a blue-no-matter-who, ACAB type. You'd think Bethel would have been instructive as to how local law enforcement felt, but I suppose I'm expecting too much.

I was out to eat tonight and there were a handful, but not many. I'm a bit disappointed I haven't had the chance to tell a Karen to go fuck herself honestly, but I have resting angry face or something, so no one ever hassles me.
