People call you a liar because every third word out of your mouth is a demonstrable, proven lie and when called out for it and for the fact that you refuse to put your money where your mouth is and stop hurting people, you throw a public pity party like this one. Its a long strip of near-unreadable garbage and vague ranting trying to discredit the criticism to her, except she doesn't address the criticisms people made of her at all and instead just paints a trite

Already encapsulating her whole apology and this answer, what everyone wants is for you to bring Marl to justice, the only sorry ass excuse you've given is that "his dad is a cop he'll cover for him" as if a local cop would have enough authority to deter the FBI, you have logs an evidence (not compiled by you mind you) and you're a first hand "victim" you have quite literally the biggest power over him, yet have chosen to not act, despite claiming you would be the first to act in case of abuse.

she writes it in a way that make its seem like everyone is excusing Marl and blaming her, but fails to realize everyone has known from the get go that Marl was a piece of shit, no one ever argued that, the criticism is of her inaction but then she makes up the excuse that she had no power or autonomy in any of this so there was no possible way she is at fault, but then again the criticism is not of her inaction during the time before, but after, she's has her full autonomy back and decides to sit on her ass and run her mouth endlessly, instead of reporting Marl to the police
Next panel she's trying to discredit 2 common criticisms of her by presenting them as mutually exclusive, this is VERY dishonest.
Her claim is that people are blaming her for both being unaware of Marl's doing while at the same time only throwing him under the bus when convenient, this is rooted on her being an abusive cunt pre and post Marl to plenty of people, the first criticism comes from taking her claims at face value, because even when believing her it makes no sense that she absolutely 110% had no idea of what was going on and that Marl somehow stuck his hand up her ass and made her talk like a puppet with no will, that requires a very high suspension of disbelief that not many people are willing to give you due to your past history.
The claim she threw him under the bus comes from people not believing her on her claims of being blind because of her own history of lying and flipping her stories to her immediate convenience, yet she makes it seem like she's being blamed of both by a single individual at the same time, painting it as a contradictory claim and thus wrong. what a disingenuous cunt.
From here on out its very clear this showcases Gliph making amends with Pengo Gliph self insert, the rest of the panels go to the very same tune of "i didn't expect anyone to care about me" and "it was too complicated for me to process" also how Marl installed the hedgehog syndrome on her. Its just trite shit of her excusing herself to Pengo saying
"I did bad shit but just because Marl made me do so"

I like that she thinks people call what she did "throwing Marl under the bus" because they feel bad for him and think she betrayed him, when that's not the issue. Marl could be thrown under a literal bus and no one would feel bad for him. What people actually hate is that she threw him under the bus as a sacrifice to distract from her own transgressions so she didn't have to take responsibility for any of the shit she did.
That doesn't fuel her victim narrative though so she disregards reality and substitutes it with her own.

I deny the abuse, bu that is because:
- Melanie keep switching the story about Jayson. ('Jayson was my loving husband! No, wait; he was my abuser! No, wait; he did no tell me about his raping animals and children! No wait...')
- Her 'coping mechanisms' are, given what other posters have said, contradictory to her 'trauma'. (Melanie claims that she was traumatised by the dog rape, but she drew bestiality frequently, drew a lot of dog pornography, and hung around while naked with a dog.)
- She keeps parading her abuse yet keeps turning her abuse into a shield that i supposed to deflect her from responsibility or even reality.
- She just lies (and keep switching lies) all the time. She is just unbelievable a this point.

How many times have you heard some boomer say "well I had it hard" to justify why something not as terrible but still not great is happening to someone. Or how a parent will justify their poor choices how they interacted with their kid and just say "well be glad you didn't have my parent".

This post highlights something for me me, because for the record, this 2014 call out was Lains original call out. It's been 6 years since Lain came forward about what Marl did to her. And in that time Glip and Eevee have done some, quite frankly, inexcusable shit to this kid to protect themselves.
