Also, something that no one has pointed out is that Q included two out of the three biggest channels in the thumbnail despite them barely appearing on the video itself. It would have been more appropiate to have Erik and Worthikids but I guess since non of them have over 1M subs they weren't worth the risk. This is a FoodFight tier move.

That’s what I don’t get. Do they think they can have the same reverence as PewDiePie? PewDiePie can command his audience to an extent because he respects his audience. You don’t respect your audience, they don’t respect you.

There's one thing I see that's very common about people like Quentin here who are noticeably performative with how progressive they are; as in, making a big show of it.

They seem to be so used to the idea, whether it's reality or not, of being this benevolent patron(izer) helping out a person of a minority group, that when one of them (Terry Crews in this case) doesn't go with their expected flow or speaks for themselves instead of being spoken for, they have a lot of trouble dealing with it.

Must be hard finding out that not everything is as black and white as he expects. Certainly, Terry Crews can't be the only case of this in the world.

The YT skeptics hate you because you bailed on them the second you thought you had a chance to win your way into ContraPoint's heart and wallet.

The BreadTubers hate you because they can see that you're a disloyal opportunist trying to worm your way into their circle. They know that if they give you even a shred of attention, you're going to be hounding them to be in your faggy videos and beg them for appearances in their videos.

The best thing for Q to do is go admit that he flipped on his friends and audience for greener pastures, and then realized the grass is only greener on the other side because it's AstroTurf. Most of his old YT buddies will take him back. Then he needs to revert to his prior style and content.

But he won't do that because someday - ANY MINUTE NOW IN FACT - Waifu Nyk will notice Q and let him ascend the BreadTube throne.

Even if that reasoning in the second tweet is true as stated (which I don't even believe in the first place), how does Quinton explain the fact that most YouTubers in general who are aware of him don't like him? The vast majority of YouTubers are neither "edgy" nor in the "lefty cliques", but still don't like Quinton because he's annoying and cringy. Beige Frequency, for example, isn't really edgy. But I definitely wouldn't call him a leftist, and yet he's still dunking on Quinton. How does Q rationalize that in his mind, the fact that plenty of people dislike him for nonpolitical reasons? Or does he just consider anyone who isn't an outspoken leftist to be "edgy"?

Quinton is basically the House Frey of ASOIAF of youtubers: Sad, pathetic and with no loyalty to others or themselves. Why anyone would even want too network with him?, his stupid movie project has tanked massively despite being "too big to fail". He is the anti-King Midas, everything he touches he turns into shit so nobody who actively wants to live of YouTube should approach him with a ten-foot pole. 90+ creators offed themselves for that but since nobody fucking watched it it's like it didn't happen and most of them will be able to walk away from this and become functional members of society and since most of them only appear after the 10 minute mark that only me and a few other masochists have ventured in one sitting it matters even less. His retarded Hamilton video already is over 100K while the lost episode of Demo Reel is barely over 64K, those are't bad views per se but it sets a message: no matter how much time you polish a turd it will remain a turd. It has to hurt that the only reason people keep watching you is because they have an emotional attachment to you and even still, they only like how you summarize other's stuff not your own. Remember that he recognized that his fanbase is almost equal in numbers to people like us.

Quinton is an imitator that's not a secret and also it isn't a secret that Breadtube is collapsing into itself and it already has plenty of overweight white neckbeards who are insecure about their sexualities and identity. I'm sure the lefty sphere that is not willing to let Quinton in would adore to incorporate another reviewer of children media like they don't have enough, not like they would accept more debate bros, trust fund babes or aesthetic failed drama kids that went to film school for two years. Why would they want the guy that has a quite sizeable track record of "floating away" from "toxic relationships" and "trades friends"?, why would they want a guy that gets triggered everytime he sees himself not being represented like he was for a brief period of time two years ago?, why would they, even they, want a sad boring sack of shit that clearly doesn't enjoy what he does?

See what I don't get is that B99 is one of the most posed shows on the planet. No Quinton. They don't like you because you thought you have valid political takes (that were handled badly btw) on the same platform where you review Rankin/Bass Christmas movies and the Fairly Odd Parents Live Action trilogy for comedic sake. Let alone using series like Fallen Titans where you present information as if you're an expert while at most it's generic stuff you can find in a Wikipedia article.

Fact is you decided to throw away a lifestyle that would at worst just label you as boring but watchable today, all for the sake of getting Breadtuber clout and to get into Contra's pants. You chased trends and locked yourself into a zone where all you could do was push your bad takes and try to redeem your former comedic glory by having Garfield be your main aesthetic.

You chased after two rabbits and caught neither one, causing your former fans to hate your change in personality, and for your current audience to question the political agenda you're pushing when you just review movies.

The moment you blended your political takes into your reviews was the moment you sealed your fate and brought your own personal pity parties upon yourself which honestly is some of the best comedy you've given us in your current character arc.
