I dunno I think his mic sounds as bad as it always has
Nah it's much worse, just listen to the last video he did on Bitchute and you'll notice the difference

I'd reckon he's playing it safe so that people don't fuck with his social media and call him alt-right. The BLM shit is probably the MAIN reason why he isn't streaming to begin with, as he might piss people off with his edgy takes. This is what the wait was for? Well the tech doesn't seem improved so that answers that questions. Months of waiting for inspiration and it's just some guy who peed and nuked his stuff? Certainly mild chuckle worthy, but this is more exciting than riots and losing his income?
Yeah, even if he streamed the riots on a different platform, it wouldn't be unlikely that YouTube would ban him for off-site activities.I'd reckon he's playing it safe so that people don't fuck with his social media and call him alt-right. He didn’t even post about it on twitter. That and the mic having gone to shit (could’ve got a new one), is strange.
Thats a general lack of effort beyond his usual shit and maybe its just the mic but it sounds like the smoking caught up to him.
If that's the case how edgy is he really? Only making fun of people who are weak or already fallen in the public eye and a safe person or group to pick on isn't exactly revolutionary.I'd reckon he's playing it safe so that people don't fuck with his social media and call him alt-right. I think Jim historically only made content if it entertains him and if he had the drive to do it.He prob didnt post it on Twitter to give Twitter even the smallest doubt his new account is him, even though the subject of his new vid makes it obvious.
Putting out this vid was maybe just him churning out something relatively safe to say he put something out.
Expecting an online content creator to be “revolutionary”If that's the case how edgy is he really? Only making fun of people who are weak or already fallen in the public eye and a safe person or group to pick on isn't exactly revolutionary.
I don't. I just think it's funny that people think Jim is edgy and this is 6 months of pent up edginess - a vid about a boomer who is scared to take his online stuff irl and pees his pants. Jim's edgy reputation is overrated. At this point it wouldn't shock me if this vid was made just so Jim's last online effort wasn't a PPP stream. Why come back at all if this is it?Expecting an online content creator to be “revolutionary”![]()
Holy shit wtf happened to his mic.
This is probably the reason why he couldn't stream and shit. He fucked his mic up and somehow he's too lazy to get a new one.
It reminded me of his Internet Aristocrat era videos, so I felt a twinge of nostalgia. As Jim vids go, it was...okay. Not bad. Not hilarious, either. (Not "Black Months Matter" level of hilarious). I will agree with some that taking the piss out of a lolbertarian like Doolittle was likely a safe move for him. There is so much fodder in the way of BLM, CHAZ/CHOP, cancel culture and the like, and he picks a C tier lolbertarian cow. But, whatever.New video sounds like it was recorded with an old built-in laptop mic. You can here a lot of room noise in the recording and there isn't as much gain on his voice like what you get with his headset. Maybe all his tech really did go to shit like he said.
Jim Metokour, mixed feeling about this individual.
On one hand I can see the entertainment aspect of it, but not quite sure if he's intellectual that formulates good arguments.
Thank you for putting it better than I could myself. I was trying to make the point that his super fans see him as revolutionary, an icon. But it's just sometimes good, sometimes bad content. There's nothing wrong with the new vid per se, but it's just not very memorable. Maybe this guy is enough to satisfy 6 months of waiting for the Sweetie Squad, it just seems so random with everything going on.As to @High Tea 's point, Jim has never been "revolutionary." He has never been one that seeks to "buck the system." He follows trends like the rest of them, and then jumps off of them when it suits him. He was all for GamerGate and IBS until it got 3spoopy5me, and just washes his hands of it. His fans (e.g., Sargon) tend to idolize him, and see him as the great white hope of the internet. In reality, he's a fag in search of clout like the rest of them. It's just better to disabuse yourself of that notion before he inevitably lets you down.

He doesn't have to be, he just has to make funny videos.Jim Metokour, mixed feeling about this individual.
