Anthony Fantano / TheNeedleDrop - "The Internet's Busiest Music Nerd"™, heelturned since 2017, slowly becoming smug SJW, threw Sam Hyde under the bus

I didn’t know who he was until someone QRT’d him onto my timeline yesterday with that spectacular cancel culture take. His ego seems gigantic for aging pop music reviewer man, watching this thread and looking forward to the impending midlife crisis

I have one question: If he's not alt-right or a Neo-Nazi why does he keep shaving his head?
The absence of hair or head coverings helps prevent his brain from overheating when it's running on full capacity generating "hot takes" on Twitter.
It is also possible that adopting the "hipster undergoing chemotherapy" look is a necessary precaution to prevent him from accidentally being the more masculine or attractive partner in his marriage.

I remember posting on /mu/ back in the days when he was just getting started. Amazing he's taken so seriously now. I've never been one for music reviews personally but looking back it seemed like even then he was trying to use 4chan culture to gain an audience and clout. I guess once he became mainstream it was convenient to abandon that stuff.

Anyway him melting down at PJW and Negative XP is pretty funny, he seems like a good candidate for a thread.

This guy is the definition of "too big for his britches." He spent a career listening to music instead of making it, and now he thinks that being a pro music listener has any merit.
I don't follow him on social media, but I remember seeing this:

Really embarrassing.

His subreddit can be interesting too. Here's the thread about the aforementioned tweet:
I also remember reading this thread around that time:
The only results Little Nas's post could have is to either garner sympathy for school shooters or make people view the actions of blm protesters as akin to school shootings. 10 out of 10 indeed. Some people don't think, they just hear nice words.

I’m glad someone finally made a thread on this bald fuck. He’s a pretentious and insufferable prick and I only wish the worst for him.
I hate how he makes you feel bad about the music you listen to. i watched 3 of his horrible, shitty videos, then decided he was a nu-male cuckold soygel faggot who deserves nothing but pain

He rated one Tove Lo album, called it bad (it's not her best) and then hasn't reviewed any album from her since. Which pissed me off because blue lips and sunshine kitty are works of art.

Nobody should take his word because he reviewed fakeboi Dorian Electra's albums and said they were amazing. Make this make sense. 😂

eh...I don't really think he needs a thread here. This is for lolcows, not "people I don't like because they lean left wing".
Having said that, I do find him a little obnoxious and I won't forgive him for low-rating the new Waxahatchee album.
His erratic behavior and constant attacks on people he dislikes are easily similar to a lot of cows with existing threads. Not to mention his coverups of edgy content and heel-turn to try to suck up to a leftist market. He's like a more successful Quinton Reviews, but he does bad music instead of Garfield and movies.

I dont care that hes a lefty. That's passé. What's funny is that he is a spaz.

As a teen-ager/young adult he describes himself as a "discerning Nu Metal connoisseur", now he reviews BTS albums and wears octagonal glasses. That's about all I know about him.

I have similar feelings about Anthony as I do to Adam: I like some of the content they make (such as Adam’s YMS reviews and Anthony’s review of Nostalgia Critic’s the Wall), though I could really do without some of the shitty or unwarranted takes they put out there.
Adum isn't that political. His worst take was "let me fuck dogs". Pretty bad but I think Anthony's take are a lot worse. Since the things he advocates in his takes could possibly lead to the destruction of society. I don't want people to fuck dogs or horses or animals, but I have seen no evidence that Adum is into IRL zoophilia. That clip of Adum advocating for IRL zoophilia is something you have to go out of your way to find and he doesn't bombard his twitter with Pro Zoophilia shit. But Anthony does bombard his twitter with pro BLM / Antifa / Leftist shit. And when Anthony is pressed on the issue his only response is "lol u mad brah! We got an incel over here." At least Adum was somewhat articulate in his argument.

Would he give KF more exposure by acknowledging he has a thread, or would he try to ignore it while occasionally vagueposting?
KF isn't some tiny site. Its pretty known on the internet. I knew we hit a critical mass when Blaire White named dropped it when debating Candace Owens. And that was years ago.

What I mean is, he almost never namedrops his critics. He vagueposts about even the people he bitterly hates and leaves you to fill in the blanks. Would his mention look like the one Negative XP got, or would he actually name us in his sperging?

Does anyone have any idea of his, like, professional background besides talking at a camera in his house and doing some editing? He went to some college or other, because I remember him saying he did shit with a college radio station (which is about as easy as walking in and asking for an unpopular time slot to get your foot in the door).

But this guy bangs on about the "working man" so fucking often and rails against them rich people and establishment and blah blah blah blah while making his livelihood from the goddamn internet. Has he flipped a burger or stocked a shelf in any capacity? His wife's college-educated much the same, iirc, so it's like.

A rich member of the upper 37% (4-year college degree) largely dropping "hot takes" against people in the other 63%. Maybe he volunteers with his local community or something, I'd hope so, because otherwise I'm really grasping at if the man can be said to have ever interacted with the people he's got his merry affluent savior complex over. He's whinging about the social parasitism of the elites... from the perspective of doing what they're doing on a smaller scale. Stunning and Brave ™

Did he grow up poor? At least tell me he grew up working-class or something.
