Anyone here heard of
zerudez?
If not, zerudez is an artist who has an entire dex on Poke Engine, an incredibly buggy Pokemon MMO where people can create Pokemon regions for people to explore. Somehow, music doesn't play in the Retro Kanto region, you can't transfer Pokemon between regions, and status moves don't work at all, instead dealing 1 damage to you or the enemy.
The
Atlas region holds an impressive 346 Pokemon (and for some reason 15 starter lines to choose from), Mega Evolutions, and even overworld sprites (albeit not finished, as clearly some are missing.)
Here is what he has to offer:
Quite a warm welcome here, as you can see here. After all, he sure does have quite the experience under his belt, creating Fakemon for over 10 years.
"Hello! I'm [name], and I like to [do activity]. I've been [doing activity] for about [long time] now, and I hope to inspire and motivate people to [do activity].
#BLACKLIVESMATTER #ACAB"
First off, we have the bug type, which I assume is the "regional bug" or something. Conceptually, a Bug/Fighting type would be pretty badass. Sure, some already exist, but not to the degree of being the common bug of the region. However, in execution, it's pretty bland, and the final stage doesn't change enough from the first, which is suprising, as bug types tend to drastically change from one stage to another. It would have been more interesting if "Dartibi" was a grub of sorts that looked wimpy and weak, and gained the fighting type upon evolving into Revolpod.
A thing you'll notice about zerudez is that he often rips off existing Pokemon as well, Luvenny and Suavenny being conceptually Minccino and Cinccino, except that they're rabbits and not chinchillas. Another is that same "cutesy" face; A good chunk of Fakemon he creates has this exact face, or at least the eyes.
And finally, here is Not Weezing, Not Haunter. Both sort of Just Get Bigger, with the only differences being very minor, like adding scythes or some shit.
