Apparently he did some kind of partnership thing with the White House to produce more foods for those in need or something and provide education for underprivileged anchor babies, and he praised the president for aiding them, but now everyone is calling the guy a race traitor to all hispanics and that he needs to die and have his company shut down for defending an "evil man who locked mexican children in cages unlike daddy Obama" (despite Obama doing the same thing). Now there's idiots all over social media both "latinx" and white demanding the boycott of a company that probably does more for spics than any loud mouthed woke activists online or antifa goons. The CEO has responded that he won't apologize for praising the president for the production of more food.

The president is doing something these idiots would normally be praising (aiding border jumpers), but that's bad now too.

Had another thought today as regards Trumps re-election.

The left are absolutely tearing him a new arsehole over the level of corona deaths because they see him as being the leader of the "no-masks, open everything" crew. Ok, we'll go with that. However, that means that a fuck tonne more people support him than the left realises/is willing to admit. The left are also making the same mistake they made in 2016 of calling these people idiots.

I see he has 96% approval rating with the Republican party. So you are going to have the people who voted for him last time plus the people who are being constantly berated by the left for their views on Covid voting for him in November.

Where does the Democratic party think the votes to get Biden over the line are going to come from?

I honestly still fully believe Strzok only got dragged into this not just because he had previously investigated Clinton but because he had improper workplace behavior by being unable to fucking keep it in his pants to not have trysts with the Page trollop.

Did Cromwell count as right wing because he did it for Jesus, or was he Proto-Stalin because of how he consolidated power and held a show trial to kill off Charles II?

Maybe the reason is that by definition the right is trying to keep things stable while the left is trying something new. It's hard to get alarming social changes with a political faction whose purpose is to prevent just that. So the worst you'd get with right-wing ascendancy is stagnation and witch hunts against "subversive" elements, and the closest thing to that in American history I can think of was the Jim Crow South where any attempt at reform was blamed on commies.
