Why do they always use semi-shady foreign doctors? Whenever I see one of those "my srs is fucked" posts its almost always from some third world country. Is it just because its cheaper or because a surgeon won't do the procedure on them in their home country?

Americans do this with weight loss surgery too, in Mexico or the Dominican Republic. It goes badly for them as well.

I think it's a combination of the two. Shady foreign surgeons don't have long wait lists, they don't have requirements for counseling or informed consent or living in your "preferred gender" for any amount of time, etc. And a real, reputable surgeon will want you to show that this isn't a fetish-driven impulse decision, which most of these sickos can't do because... it is. And the reputable surgeons also have wait lists, cost more, and so on.

This. The NHS have such a strict requirement before they do any kind of evasive surgery like SRS. you have to have lived socially in your gender for more than two years & have a BMI (body mass index) of 25 or less and tons of other requirements, psychiatric evaluations... all that stuff.

those docs in other countries will do anything for money. One reason I love the NHS is the fact they actually are quite thorough with shit like this as it limits the troon crowd from wasting gov money on their fetish.

But those forums are almost always in English; and that guy even writes that he barely speaks English. It's not like Western Europe where 95% of the population is fluent in English and only consume American media and visit American websites. Turkey has far less American influence.

I doubt you'll find any troons in, say, Algeria or Ghana either.

Maybe surgeons in Thailand or Turkey or wherever are held to less stringent ethical standards than in the West. Maybe I just don't understand medicine, but I don't see how any doctor could perform sex change operations, as there's nothing wrong with a human's body that demands the amputation of testicles and penises in order to use the flesh to fashion a franken-vagina where those appendages used to be. Or the inverse for cutting out of a vagina to affix a franken-penis. Just on the basis of ethics, it should be unethical for any doctor to perform medically unnecessary surgery. I can see how the most ideologically committed doctors and surgeons might be willing and able to manipulate the system to perform these procedures in advanced countries, but even with these doctors and surgeons there will be at least some cases where they are unable (but not unwilling, probably) to do so. Hence such patients having to go to Thailand or Turkey or wherever.

in turkey, for example, you have istanbul. huge city, millions of inhabitants, lots of foreigners, large population (thousands, possibly tens of thousands) of english speaking cosmopolitans in business and academia. that's enough to serve as the kernel for it, from those people it can then spread to their family and friends. it won't be a large number, but it's enough to result in a handful of troons per year.

and there absolutely are troons in algeria or ghana. again, much less than in the west, but they definitely exist. even without cultural spillover, you would still have that one in a million deviant who went online, found tumblr on his own and fell down the rabbit hole from there.

It doesn't really matter. Troonery is a very bougie phenomenon. So there are probably troons everywhere, but in places where people regularly have to work all day to just to avoid starving to death you're likely only going to see them in the upper classes... which are likely to know English or at the very least be college-educated enough to have been exposed to the transgender meme.

So let me get this straight (no pun intended), the sub-reddit r/ActualLesbians was colonized and taken over by gross troons. They even have an entire rule thread on what lesbians can and can't say so as not to offend their tranny overlords. And it's still crawling with manbeasts complaining about their hurt feelings.
We all know how Troons operate, and real lesbians started getting banned in droves for not pretending they love Girl dick and created r/truelesbians . Just that they had the population to start a sub based on being banned is really something.

Btw, it's not just that. Out of their 16 active mods, 11 are trans - 68.75%. I've attached a list of them. I identified the troons through their post history (selfies, troon subs, troon topics) and marked them with a yellow tick. Yellow cross are real women, strike through are bots/nuked accounts.
Identifying the troons is so easy too. They never shut up about it. And even if they don't post about it frequently, their post history just always screams autism (obsessive posting about obscure hobbies). The real women also tend to have rather short post histories while the troons' go on and on.

I dunno, I have no idea where troons consider the "best" results generally come from, but from what little I've seen, sometimes the US comes across as a SRS Wild West. That's the thing with all troons. Even the ones that pass in terms of aesthetics (this one doesn't) never pass in terms of behavior. This dude's stilted mannerisms alone are an instant clock. His voice sounds very unnatural as well. At least he's made some effort in that area, which is more than your general troon does these days, but he doesn't sound or speak like a woman at all.
