Just watched V for Vendetta for the first time. And considering the fact that this movie was released in 2005, just 15 years ago, it's frightening on how relevant it is to today. The fact that the riots and protest that are happening right now, are heading in the way as the police state of England, is alarming.
The fact that our freedoms are being taken away is proof of that. How our government who are suppose to uphold the Constitution, are the ones taking away our freedoms, is insane. Of course, 15 years ago, we would deny that something like that would happen. Well look at us now. 15 years later, and we are walking a very dangerous line here. And if something isn't done, our freedoms will be gone and forgotten.
Sad thing about that, most of those who are in support of these riots, will be regretting their decisions once they lost their freedom.

They intentionally let the place get trashed.
Either they did it because they were terrified of making a bunch of Feral Joggers come to heel, or they were expecting the riots to spread outward and become Trump's reelection ending problem, or they expected to pin this on counter-protesters that refused to show up, or they wanted to force Trump to take action in some sort of fucked up plot. Or hey, maybe they thought if they let the Joggers burn down a bunch of Urban Blight, they'll get the feds to pay for official state sanctioned Gentrification, and they wouldn't even have to listen to a bunch of diversity tourists demanding shitty parts of their city remain shitty so they could enjoy the idea of having "urban" culture outside of their gated communities.
Who knows. Maybe a combination of both, or all. But whatever the case, it's clear to absolutely everyone that the left intentionally let shit burn when they could have called in the National Guard. Trump was very sneaky in publicly stating this and then stepping back and letting their own bear trap catch them instead of him.
And yeah, if Biden wins, every single one of us will be paying for BLM and Antifa's little race riots for the next 20 years.

I wonder what they thought would happen. Trump offered Federal Assistance to prevent the destruction in the first place. They refused that offer and just let people burn down their cities. They made it abundantly clear that not only was Federal assistance not required, it was not wanted. They even viture signalled quite loudly in the media how much the did not want Federal assistance.
