SJW Art and Extremes

Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

  • Suicide Girl model and America's Next Top Model contestant have it, spread on Tumblr, that's why.

Maybe I am not paying enough attention, but what's exactly SJW-ish about these? They seem more like childishly cute representations of the characters with gay shipping thrown in.

I'm guessing that the woobified characters and the huge schnozes (and the weird "blushes") they've got makes it seem SJW-ish..?

And imo this art is tame compared to the previous ones. :)
(I'm used to seeing overweight, vitiligo/blackwashed, and gay pins everywhere :c )

I'd also assume that drawing fanart of the kids from It is weird enough on it's own to begin with.

Snoopin’ around on Tumblr for one of my favorite shows and I see this.

This is all I could find on Tumblr. I don’t understand why people need sailor-mouthed fourth graders to represent the LGBT community.

Edit: (Seriously, the only canon ship is Creek and even then it was because of the fujoshits going apeshit over it (and other ships) and it was to make fun of them, from my point of view.)

None of these are Craig and Tweek, which are the actual canon gay characters to begin with.

Strange, isn’t it?

I’m also extremely sure that the fandoms don’t remember that shipping doesn’t always mean boyfriend and/or girlfriend.

EX: I ship these two as friends,

or

EX: I ship them as brother and sister.

First of all, how the fuck does that remotely resemble anything in Danganronpa? Second of all, "big brother" is not a talent. You could argue that being rich (Byakuya: The Ultimate Heir) isn't a talent, but atleast it has some substance, unlike "big brother".
And finally, what's with people on Art Fight and putting "Don't draw any of my characters supporting [blank]ism/phobia" in their permissions? I highly doubt the site even allows that in the first place.

If anything, you're making me want to do it even more with a character like this!

I never understood why people have rules like this. i see it in commission rules too, like "I won't draw hate art" i'm pretty sure nobody's going to ask you to in the first place but ok

Sometimes I see amazing South Park art and I go “Awwwwwwww...”

Then I see the tags.

Also, yesterday I learned that Tenormancest is a thing and my faith in humanity sinks even lower.

And so, I shall look it up and post it, with whatever microscopic scrap of sanity I have left.

Actually, if I remember correctly, there is a mythical black haired dog-demon called Dip. So it's not a bad ship name if this is the reason it's called that.

But regardless, shipping kids is cringe even if you "age them up" (but they still look the same).

Agreed. There's a fuck ton of South Park slash, and a lot of it is between the main boys, Craig, and Tweek.
