Anyone got a summary of the latest livestream? I don't feel like watching over an hour of Enter rambling about shit.
I only watched like half an hour total of the start and the end. It was a typical Enter stream where he gets flooded with autistic questions and he keeps repeating "I already answered that!" This time he mostly talked about his deteriorating mental health and how society is stupid and doesn't care about people. He got asked a few times why he left twitch/twitter/deviantart but he just said "those sites are eeeeeevil" without elaborating much further. Says he's still working on GA, in fact it's one of the few things he's been doing since quarantine. Stressed that financially, he's having zero problems. When asked when the GA pilot will come out, he mumbled half the question and moved on. A couple of people in chat posted his alleged address, GA season 6 spoilers, and his family members' names but honestly I don't think he saw them since chat moved so fast. Lots of people donated superchats, my rough estimate is he got around $200 for this 1 hour unannounced stream

He also mentioned that we should have just "not given a shit" about Covid like we did other pandemics (he specifically cites swine flu). And the same hogwash about society devaluing oxytocin.

Yeah he mentioned some plagues in the past that "nobody remembers now" as if that proves the best thing to do is ignore safety precautions. He also seemed unaware that Crimson has a bone to pick with him and says "if he has a problem with me, that's entirely on him."

Haven't watched the livestream because his voice is irritating, but according to YouTube comments:

  • Mr Enter doesn't like QuintonReviews 12:39, after getting asked about Quinton's Vidcon Shitfest
  • Is $10,000 in debt
  • Considers Nick-O-Rama a failure (I wonder why 🤔)
  • Is no longer going to do Admirable Animations
  • Still acting ignorant about virus
  • Not going to review Family Guy ever again
Again, take these with a grain of salt because I've just taken these notes from the comment section. On that note, Enter's comment section is cancerous.

EDIT: Tried to be a good kiwi and watch it but could only get 3 minutes in. He speaks so fucking slow, it's torture

The $10k debt thing is a meme from one of his videos where he made a sarcastic comment people took seriously. But speaking of Family Guy, he wishes he could go back in time and rewrite the pilot episode to be so bad the show never got picked up. How spiteful can you be to wish you could sabotage a show like that? It's like wishing the Simpsons never got made.

Ah okay, didn't know about the debt part. Mr Enter is just jealous that Seth MacFarlane is competent enough and hardworking to get a show while Enter, sat with his thumb in his ass and ranting about the government, can't get his own show launched

Well there is merit to Enter saying that admirable animations are not fun to make and it's because it is much easier to critique or tear something down rather than uplift something that is why most internet reviews can make reviews or critique easily rather than create something new (look at the Nostalgia Critic movies, The Atop the Fourth Wall movie, and Growing Around)

I think merit is the wrong word. I recall plenty pages back there's an Enter tweet where he's whining about how there's been no 2D animated films this decade. Of course this is false, and if he really cared you'd think he'd use his influence to highlight such examples and perhaps fuel some interest in these types of films, regardless of how fun it is. This is actually a problem with the cartoon community as a whole, because they're always bitching about "muh 2D", yet never step outside of Cartoon Network to find some legitimately neat animated movies/shows. Anim8ball is the only cartoon reviewer I'm aware of who goes went out of his way to review obscure animation.

Even so, with Nostalgia Critic or IHE whenether they tear things apart, they at least do so with a humorous air about it. Enter always comes off as legitimately angry or disgruntled about a bad episode. He never comes off as a fun guy having a fun time or as a riffer.

Fair I just think I used the wrong words, it’s more that it’s easier to be angry than be positive and what you brought up is a good example of that. There are plenty of good 2D animated films that come out especially foreign films but these cartoon reviewers only look at Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Illumination, and Dreamworks but nothing beyond that.

One quote from the livestream really got to me for how self-deprecating it was. Paraphrasing Enter, "Name one Admirable Animation that wasn't A) made specifically as a counterexample to something I don't like, or B) a generic recap of the episode." It's not that it's hard for him to promote greatness, but rather that he's never actually done it before. I doubt he's even tried to. I'll bet part of the reason he refuses to review Madoka is because he couldn't find a way to get angry about it.

I don't get why the social aspect of the quarantine bothers him when practically all of his communication is online. Had the livestream playing in the background for a while, jotted some questions down.

Q: Are you at least happy that you're alive?
A: Living in quarantine is not being alive.

Q: Why did you stop numbering Animated Atrocities?
A: Because I could no longer keep track of what number I was on.

Q: Any tips on starting your own series?
A: Hard to parse right now...

Q: Will you ever go back to Twitch?
A: I will go back if they fucking get a hold of their management and follow their rules fairly.

Q: When is your next Animated Atrocity?
A: Still trying to figure it out.

Q: Are you in a healthy, decent mental space?
A: I wouldn't call it dis-healthy, my friend.

Q: Is there any hope for the world?
A: Eh...

GENERAL RESPONSE BY ENTER: Reddit is the worst, followed by Twitter, then probably Facebook... Actually TikTok is the worst, but I don't really count that.

Q: How are you doing?
A: I don't know how to answer that.

Q: What is the virus like over in America?
A: The media is going off and on. But if you walk outside in my area, nobody cares. Nobody's wearing a mask or anything.

Q: How are you physically?
A: Physically, I'm absolutely fine.

Q: What do you think about Hazbin Hotel?
A: I liked Hazbin Hotel.

Q: Are you still working on Growing Around?
A: Yes, I am still working on Growing Around. Why do I keep getting this-- When have I ever given the indication that I stopped?

Q: Do you still have beards?
A: Yes, I still have beards.

Q: Would you ever shave?
A: No. When people ask me it, I say no.

Q: Why don't you like masks?
A: That's... that's a big question for a later date.

Q: Are you staying inside?
A: No, I'm getting plenty of fresh air.

Q: What advice do you have for someone who's been reviewing cartoons for almost a year?
A: Keep going at it. It took me a bit to take off.

Q: Why do you choose not to shave?
A: Because it's part of who I am...

Q: How old are you?
A: I am all the cusp of 28.

Q: What's your favourite season?
A: My favourite season is usually summer, but then again, usually society pretends to be a society.

Q: What's your favourite mythology?
A: Probably Greek.

Q: How exactly do you write the best story ever written?
A: You...you don't...

Q: Do you have any regrets regarding YouTube?
A: All the time!

Q: What was your first console?
A: The Super Nintendo.

Q: Why don't you review video games?
A: That's the thing. On YouTube, you have to do the same thing over and over and over again - the same exact thing - and never have it get repetitive; that's how you get successful on YouTube.

Q: Do you consider yourself to be likeable?
A: Uh... I-I don't know.

Q: What's your favourite review?
A: Wayside or Korra usually.

Q: What's your favourite extinct animal species?
A: The dead one.

Q: 2008 or 2020?
A: 2008.

Q: Do you play RPGs?
A: Action RPGs.

Q: What is your opinion on the Nostalgic Critic's The Wall review?
A: He should've never done that... It's morbidly...annoying that people cared and turned against him more for that than the #changethechannel documentary and events.

Q: Do you think that we're headed towards anarchy?
A: No, we're not heading towards anarchy. Anyone who's trying to tear down society is trying to build up their own government whatever.

Q: What happened to Advertisments Part 2 (his Top 10 list)?
A: Please stop asking me about that. I'll get to it when I get to it.

Q: What do you think about how Japan has normalised face masks?
A: Japan has normalised a lot of things that probably shouldn't be normalised in the rest of the world, like being xenophobic.

Q: Why did you stop numbering Animated Atrocities (again)?
A: Okay, I'm going to stop answering that.

Q: What is your favourite Fairly OddParents episode?
A: Sigh... I don't even know anymore.

Q: Favourite Nintendo Switch game?
A: The only one I've played so far is Animal Crossing, and I'll tell you my opinion on that when they actually finish the game in a year.

Q: You should livestream a game while Q&A-ing.
A: No, because then I wouldn't be able to read and answer the questions.

Q: Which cartoon made you the angriest?
A: PowerPuff Girls 2016.

Q: What's your take on RWBY.
A: Never seen it. I watch surprisingly little.

Q: What game is this (music) from?
A: It's from Undertale. You should know this by now...

Q: What's the hardest thing about making videos?
A: Editing. Definitely editing. Both audio and video. They suck.

Q: Are you more sad than happy?
A: Yes.

Q: Will you ever review 12 Oz. Mouse again?
A: Yeah, maybe, if the DVD didn't cost over 100 fucking bucks.

Q: What's your opinion on Butch Hartman?
A: In my opinion, Butch Hartman seems like a scam artist.

Q (SUPERCHAT - $2): Review Clone high, Foster toy movie, Close Enough
A: Stop telling me what to review!

(General note: ignores three Superchats in a row just to comment on Australia)

Q: Are you feeling alright at the moment?
A: Eh... I can't answer that...

Q: What made you start reviewing shows?
A: I don't even remember.

Q (SUPERCHAT - $5): Why do you keep ignoring my comment? Can you review Primal?
A: I... Matthew, I said stop telling me what to review. I shall review...what I will.

Q: 2020 and still no Oaxis from Butch.
A: Meanwhile, I didn't succeed in my Indiegogo project, and yet I've still been able to actually get progress along in my project.

Q: Are you uncomfortable showing yourself on your camera?
A: I don't exactly like my appearance...

Q: Why are you streaming today?
A: Seemed like something to do...

Q (SUPERCHAT - $2): Do you ever plan on revisiting Friendship is Magic?
A: I already did that, didn't I?

Q: What did I miss?
A: You didn't miss anything, 'cause I keep getting the same questions over and over again. I wasn't aware I lived in a time loop.

Q: Are you still friends with PieGuyRulz?
A: I don't talk to PieGuyRulz. At this point, we're just random people on the internet to each other.

Q: Do you think we're doomed?
A: ...

Q (SUPERCHAT - $5): Volunteer work is the best cure to depression? Ever thought about working at a homeless shelter?
A: The best cure to depression is to being able to communicate with people and actually talk to each other and actually get within 6 feet of each other. Look op oxytocin! It's quite important to human interaction and human connection! It's why even my [bangs on desk] therapist told me that social media connection and stuff wasn't a substitute for real life connection!

Q: What makes you think Kanye could win?
A: The alternatives.

Q: How did people handle a pandemic back them?
A: They moved on with their lives. They didn't shut everything down.

Q: When are you doing your second Indiegogo for Growing Around?
A: (Enter reads the question and cuts himself off quickly to avoid answering)

Wait, so no one in his area is even wearing masks? So why the meltdown on something that literally hasn't impacted his life at all? And why is he such a cunt to everyone, even his fans, all the time? Someone even asked with a superchat why he made a stream just to complain and Enter bitched at him too.

Q: Are you still working on Growing Around?
A: Yes, I am still working on Growing Around. Why do I keep getting this-- When have I ever given the indication that I stopped?

As far as YouTube is concerned, you've never given the indication you're still going, either. Most users assume an ongoing project would at least get monthly updates, and aside from that, you have a really bad track record of announcing huge projects and abandoning them without notice... like Madoka.

Q: Do you have any regrets regarding YouTube?
A: All the time!

Q: Why don't you review video games?
A: That's the thing. On YouTube, you have to do the same thing over and over and over again - the same exact thing - and never have it get repetitive; that's how you get successful on YouTube.

For someone so desperate to convince us YouTube is a "real job," you certainly don't seem proud of ii.

Q: When is your next Animated Atrocity?
A: Still trying to figure it out.

Q (SUPERCHAT - $2): Review Clone high, Foster toy movie, Close Enough

A: I... Matthew, I said stop telling me what to review. I shall review...what I will.

"I don't know what to do for my show, to the point where I haven't uploaded anything significant in weeks."
"Here are some options."
"STOP TRYING TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS!"

Look, I get it. Fan requests can be overbearing and should probably be ignored when your plate is already full, but ONLY when your plate is already full.

Q: What made you start reviewing shows?
A: I don't even remember.

You enjoyed MLP analysis blogs and videos, found one critic whose views you legitimately couldn't stand (Byter: "Season 3 sucks."), and decided to marathon MLP while roleplaying as a defense attorney specifically to spite that critic. Then, throughout the marathon, you'd say things like "This episode is bad, but it wasn't as bad as The Splinter," your comments rightfully asked "What the hell is The Splinter?" and you responded with a full review of a SpongeBob episode which spawned into "Animated Atrocities." I don't know why I have to explain this shit to you, since you lived it and all, but I find it helps to understand why you started down a dangerous path before you continue to walk the dangerous path.

Q: 2020 and still no Oaxis from Butch.
A: Meanwhile, I didn't succeed in my Indiegogo project, and yet I've still been able to actually get progress along in my project.

Define "progress," because as long as you're revising scripts and revising animatics and rejecting the very concept of non-negotiable due dates (spending too much time in the oven, as producers would say,) I wouldn't call anything you do meaningful "progress."

Q: When are you doing your second Indiegogo for Growing Around?
A: (Enter reads the question and cuts himself off quickly to avoid answering)

I rest my case.
