Mental issues can also occur from birth such as PTSD, post-partum depression, post-partum psychosis, OCD, or simply just taking medications and can happen to any woman, regardless of whether or not she has support.

Those studies DO count for variables, did you even bother to read it? You passed statistics, do you know how studies work? Get a large enough sample size and you can predict the normal curve even if there are a few outliers.
