First of all, I'm amazed that that woman is able to talk with all that straw crammed in her mouth.

And secondly, I cannot get over how fucking stupid this rhetoric is. Your feelings do not trump biology. A penis is a male organ and having one makes you biologically male. A vagina is a female organ and having one makes you biologically female. You can identify as whatever gender you fucking want, but you can't act like just because an incredibly tiny percentage of the population isn't happy with the genitals they were born with, that that means that biological sex isn't an actual thing and that science is transphobic.

She actually pulled this shit in the very first comic; she got mad when a receptionist said something about being biologically male. Stephie/Sophie (because they're literally the same person) remind me of the people who refuse to fill out anything about their biological sex on medical forms because it's "transphobic" and honestly seem to think that doctors don't need to know your biological sex for health reasons (because it's not like certain things only affect certain sexes or anything; prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, and pregnancy can happen to anyone!)

Also, it's dumb that some people get offended at the whole "born a boy/girl" thing. If you were already comfortable with your birth sex, then why are you transgender? And why aren't you happy with your penis if it's "just a penis," Stephie?

The first panel caught me off guard. "I didn't know I couldn't tell other people that you're trans."

Really? There's people that don't know? Because that's all Stephie ever fucking talks about.

Sorry to burst your bubble kid, but the fact you were born with a dick and two nuts makes you BIOLOGICALLY BACKED BY MODERN SCIENCE MALE!!!!

If you want to be identified as female, more power to you, but you cannot change the fact you were born into this world a boy!

God why are some cis people that dense?

Undermining of natural selection I think.

Considering this comic, it seems we're supposed to feel shame for being cis. Like it's an inferior quality, and that the author is trying to lift us up to their enlightened status.

Nevermind the several cis-shaming comics before that one.

Cis people are the reason humanity exists
Cis people created modern civilization
Cis people are the reason YOU exist.

Stephanie is my first name and I do not understand why this character demands to be referred to by "Stephie." Steph is not the short form of Stephen because Stephen is pronounced "Steven." Steve is the short form. I have never once heard Stephen pronounced as it is spelled, except by children who don't know any better. Is this a French-Canadian thing?

Anyway, Steph is the short form of Stephanie. Stephie is like the obnoxiously cute form of Stephanie. My grandpa calls me Stephie.

Because Stephanie isn't "unique" and "special" enough for them.

I wanted to say something about how the French language far prefers an -ie for feminization of names/words.

But you're far closer to the mark, I imagine. Also that creature is the artist's self-insert. Sophie -> Stephie. Not too far off, right?
