I genuinely got a lot out of my time in college, and I think everyone should get a chance to delve deeply into topics or fields of research that they feel passionate about. Acting like the piece of paper signifies intellect, though? Like you do? That's dumb as shit, and something that really does peg you as a hillbilly American housewife. A degree means nothing because you can acquire it without any actual effort. And no, spending money does not equate to effort.

The college journey is where the value is to be found, reliant on the efforts of the individual to improve himself, and not in the degree you get at the climax.
