You'd think any parent doing something like that would be an automatic red flag. Back in the 90s the school I went to had a specific policy to report any parent who did that or otherwise attempted to dissuade teacher concerns over any student, both to the administration and to social services. It didn't happen very often but I do remember they busted a parent of an abused autistic kid in my 5th grade class because of that very policy
That said they really should have such a policy in every school, especially elementary and middle schools

Fast forward to 27:35. I had to skip around, because Wendy’s voice is like an ice pick to my eardrum, but I thought it was interesting. She claims she protects Desmond from “hate”, but talks to him all the time about people accusing her of grooming him...? Talk about hanging a sword over your kid’s head. Especially since Desmond calls himself a mama’s boy in the interview. No matter how abused a child is, they’ll find ways to defend their parents, out of survival if nothing else. Dead on. It’s hard to eke out lulz from this particular cow, because she’s one of the genuine MOTI cases here on the Farms. At least her misshapen body is laff-worthy.
