WWE Champions General - Despite his claims, DSP is still spending thousands of dollars on the WWE Champions mobile game

You're not wrong, though, simply for the record, I said "gacha" not "WWE Champions". I don't think for one second that Phil only plays this shitty excuse for a game, especially since he has almost all the wrestlers and has been Nigel'd out of every guild he has tried to find a home in. He's an addict, and addicts build up a tolerance that compels them to seek new levels of whatever high is their forte. In Phil's case, that means becoming a "big shot" in an additional game.

So, stab in the dark, but recently I heard of Marvel Puzzle Quest (It has a client for mobile and PC) and from what I saw it's pretty much a Marvel version of WWE Champions (Candy Crush but with X franchise thrown on top with characters to collect gacha-style, abilities and whatever). We know Phil has at least enough "passion" for Marvel that he played Marvel Future Fight for quite some time and most likely dumped some money in it, so it seems plausible he played Marvel Puzzle Quest.

Did anyone search for TheyCallMeDSP there ? I tried to make an account and see if I could check myself but I didn't find the option to do it if there was one, though I barely managed to go through the tutorial and one chapter of the story (Or maybe it was still the tutorial, I don't really know) before I had enough, so maybe I just didn't push enough for the option to appear.

Marvel Puzzle Quest doesn't have the gacha aspect like WWE Champions, and it's far more forgiving for free players. I don't think it's Phil's type of game... he only seems attracted to the ones like the WWE games, Brave Exvius which are blatantly pay to win cash grabs where he can thrive as a reliable open wallet.

can you imagine a world where DSP somehow didn't learn from the Champions debacle and actually unironically used They CallMeDSP on another gacha game? I know we all like to laugh how dumb he is but there's just no fucking way he makes that mistake ever again after all the turmoil this saga has caused him.

This is a dude who complains about stream snipers and shit, but will autistically use the DSP brand for everything vidya. Chances are slim that he'll ever learn a got damn thing.

Game is 7 years old, it could simply be a leftover from before he learned that surprise, if you use your public name for things, people might just connect the dots back to you. It's essentially what had happened with Future Fight, he hadn't played in over a year, but his account was still there with the TheyCallMeDSP name.

If his lawyer told him specifically to not talk about WWE Champions, then she knows he's committing fraud. There's no reason for her to think of giving such specific instructions post-discharge unless he would be incriminating himself in a criminal act that he could still theoretically face consequences for.

But I think it's more likely that Phil is simply applying her blanket advice of "STFU about anything under the sun" to a specific situation, because he's stupid and doesn't realize that he's implicating her in his fraud. If she has figured out that Phil was lying his ass off about all those microtransactions being business expenses (which she might since he wasn't willing to talk about it in public), I really doubt that she would make the mistake of thinking that he could be trusted to not implicate her in his public statements. She would be more likely to just let him hang himself, and only himself, because it's not hard to figure out that he's likely to.

Trying to figure out the precise meaning of anything DSP says or the word games surrounding it are aneurysm material. He could be stupid about saying that he's not allowed to talk about WWE Champions, he could be stupid about saying that it's legal advice from his lawyer, he could be lying about either of those two things, he could be doing another stupid boomer joke trying to distance himself from it, the possibilities are endless because DSP is just that much equal parts liar and equal parts stupid. I honestly don't think it registers in his brain which particular tactic he uses at any given moment to deflect criticism just so long as the goal is met, either by stupid faux self deprecating joke or accidentally slipping confidential truth mixed in with a lie or just misunderstanding what words mean in the context he uses them.

Lawyers don't generally give you more instructions than you need because they rightly assume you are stupid and cannot follow simple instructions. He's told not to talk about champions because it can negatively impact some legal thing his lawyer is working on. Otherwise the lawyer wouldn't give a fuck. If champions had no relation to his case it would be like his lawyer told him not to talk about Cheers. Or Ted Danson. Basically lawyers tell you not to make their jobs harder, they don't give a shit about you outside of that.

Edit: unless he's lying to keep the pot stirring. He knows the Champions thing is a draw.
