This is my personal issue with the current mood of "we need to teach kids more about sex or sexuality!" - as there's a fine line between making sure those almost-inevitable encounters they have in high-school relationships are somewhat informed and throwing them into a lions den of additional challenges to face when just going thru the general wash of hormones and frustrations of teen life is bad enough.
There's also the issue with even discussing potential predatory behaviours even if they are absolutely known to exist in certain groups. Making it better would be telling kids how to identify people who are not only pressuring you for sex, but even pressuring or bullying you into "experimenting" to find out your sexuality or identity.
(There's nothing wrong with a teen trying to figure out if they like boys, girls or both - or if they are unhappy in who they are. But that should be a decision on them, not made because their friends dunk on their choices or made by people who crow on about hatching "eggs")
But this is how you get kids who think and actively pursue adult relationships because they've been told they can totally have valid romances and anyone who questions their choice of partner + younger adults who would normally know better but encourage a minor in a current climate where people insist kids are able to handle adult matters and relationships potentially with more maturity than most adults.
