Credit where credit is due, if she's got into graduate entry medicine, it's extremely competitive and definitely an achievement.
With that said, she needs to take herself down a peg. She has a degree, yes, but from watching that video she did on low IQ and obesity, she doesn't seem to have taken much from it. If she got onto graduate entry, it's highly likely she got a First and I have no idea how you could get a First in a psychology degree from Durham and come out with the stupid shit she did in that video.
Someone in the comments even pointed out that socieconomic status is likely the common factor between the two and she asked them to share sources with her. You've just spent three years and tens of thousands of pounds learning how to best find scientific research and think critically, could you not have spent two seconds doing it yourself?
On a side note, if she is doing graduate entry medicine with psychology as her undergraduate degree in London, there's only a couple of universities it could be (I'm assuming it's not Oxbridge, since I feel like we'd have heard about it if it was). St George's maybe? From what I hear, it's not very well regarded (although, to be fair, it's still medicine), which would explain not boasting about it. Or Queen Mary, depending on what A Levels she did? Unless she's doing an undergraduate course, which she'd have to pay nine thousand a year tuition out of pocket for (you can't even get a loan from the government for it).
Yeah, I always assumed she was from the Newcastle/Sunderland/Durham area. She sounds Geordie to me. Anyone I've met who has came from another country and sounds as British as she does moved here at a very young age.
If she sounded Polish, she'd definitely face a lot of discrimination. The perception that Polish people were "Coming over here, taking our jobs!" was one of the main reasons a lot of people cited for voting Brexit. Even though they're white, a lot of Brits don't consider them to be the "right kind" of white. They get the same "Fuck off back to your country!" as ethnic minorities, the difference being that ethnic minorities get it even if they've lived here all their life.
She doesn't sound Polish in the slightest, though, so unless she tells someone, she'll just get treated like any other Brit. Might get ripped on for sounding Geordie, but that's about it.
