Hope Beijing is ready for a sequel to the Century of Humiliation, because if Trump wins a second term, he's probably going to go apeshit on Chinese interests and do everything he can to cripple the Chinese economy, consequences be damned.

What good has it done for those who have systems that organically grew multi-party systems?

What good would it do to artificially induce a structure similar? Missing completely that both parties have a "big-tent" approach anyway?

I don't like multiparty systems either - there's a lack of consensus and unity in those as well, something we see in the current inability and stagnation of European governments; litany of 'far-right' parties in power in European governments but it's not as if that matters when government process is managed through bipartisan bullshit.

Multiparty systems do nothing but take "red vs. blue" and add fucking yellow, green, and every other assorted shade to the spectrum - in reality, it probably does more to radicalize rhetoric than moderate it, considering we're seeing radicals all over European politics become more and more prominent.

A history of complaints--whether founded or unfounded--is not evidence that Chauvin murdered George Floyd. There's a reason courts exclude all kinds of history, it's because they want juries to try the facts and not get hung up on whether someone is a good or bad person.

Oh man Russia only lost 90% of the landmass of a vassal state on its border to NATO allies and managed to keep their access to one of their largest naval bases by invading the remaining 10% closest to it. Sounds like a big win to me.

Let me know the next time the USA suffers a crushing defeat next door and I'll cope by claiming we managed to keep 10% of it. I guess the US didn't actually lose influence over Cuba because Guantanamo Bay is still there.
