National debt matters if we're desperately in need of cash and other countries call on the debt they hold, triggering us to call on the debt we hold. If we fail to service it, our credit rating goes down. Which matters if we're desperately in need of cash.

We need that international debt to pay out welfare programs, particularly medicare/aid & social-security, as well as to fund our military adventurism. Both of these are things that people broadly understand cannot go on forever, yet don't fully conceptualize for this. Triggering the debt essentially just means that we scrap these programs sooner - unless you get the double-whammy of an admin that does go full Zimbabwe. Given how the mint and the fed work, you'd basically have to see an open putsch by the executive to get Zimbabwe to happen. Otherwise, we scrap those drains of programs sooner and forestall using debt to finance more idiotic shit we can't actually afford.

I wonder who will feel like a total asshole when they realize the guy who died from an opioid overdose who was passing off counterfit money and robbed pregnant women had cities burned down in his honor, statues ripped apart, at least 2 or 3 funerals beyond the level of a state dignitary, and then the bodycam footage shows that he was being a jackass and the cops did nothing wrong. Not the ladies in the DLF I'm sure.
The court found Trayvon was on top of Zimzam and bashing his head into the pavement. There was still rioting and looting.

A grand jury and Obama's DoJ found that Michael Brown had just robbed a store before rushing Darren Wilson, trying to grab his gun, and that "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" was a flat-out lie. There was still rioting and looting.

What makes you think any countervailing evidence will convince the "I Can't Breathe" crowd? Facts don't matter to these creeps.

You're going to learn that this was an approved method of restraint, researched throughout it's due to doubts, but was proven to not be harful or deadly, and is a sanctioned move used by agencies all over the world.
I think could the neck could be a good technique to restrain someone but I don't think it's good when the person is high like Floyd was.
Maybe we should stop concerning ourselves with the forms of treatment law enforcement show to fucking career criminals - with the sort of events that've unfolded in regards to police interactions with random ass people since this has happened, I'd expect a lot of proverbial knees-in-the-neck as an inevitability.
Well I agree this will change the optics about the events, probably more the about others cops. I already said but I am saying again I am not a American but I think a lawyer like Barnes, the lawyer of maga kid, know more about it.
I am confusing why people is trying to defend the cop now when the cop was ties with a DEM prosecutor. Nobody researched who was the last prosecutor in that area. (Possibly Biden's VP pick).

It just keeps going further and further, all while the entire country marches lockstep into a bottleneck. I'm not at all confident in the economy. The numbers look good for now, but I'm hedging my bets on the dollar faltering and China taking full advantage. If this continues as it has, and I think it will, imagine a world where China is the dominant superpower and get used to it because we'll unfortunately all likely be living in that world in the future. The majority of these people are just useful idiots, they don't really understand what they're doing and truthfully they have no real ideology, at least not one formed or fomented of their own volition. They just latch onto whatever is popular and I'm convinced that most of them are too gormless to really understand what they're doing. I can't say I blame them, necessarily, because they've been made this way. The vast majority of people can't resist the programming that they've been exposed to since they were five or six years old, that's when the indoctrination begins. They teach you to read and write all while they change the language right before your eyes.

It really reminds me of 'Ship of Fools', a short story written by Ted Kaczynski. It's somewhat long but well worth the read. Again and again I'm surprised by just how many people tried to warn us of this, and how little we heeded their warnings. Yuri Bezmenov tried as well. Their lectures and writings gave us a road map for what to expect, and aside from some smaller details, they were one-hundred-percent correct in their assessment. So many of the methods and means used by the leftists to get their way and achieve their goals are immoral and indecent, most conservatives [or even centrists] won't even consider using the same tactics since people on the right largely tend to stand for tradition and principles. This hang-up is admirable because it enables them to have the moral high ground, at least in their own mind. But what good does moral high ground do you in an authoritarian shithole like the one they're being allowed to create? You might stand on that high ground until the mob is at your throat, and maybe as they haul you off to the gulag you can say "At least I'm morally just and righteous!" but it won't do anything for you. I'm not saying anyone should stoop entirely to their level. I'm saying people on the right should get organized and start arranging gatherings and shows of solidarity with eachother. The left are certainly organized and they're not showing any signs of stopping. People think the WNs and legitimate Nazis will just ruin everything and paint the whole gathering as a Klan Rally, I think that's just cope. They'll be there, certainly, they were in Charlottesville to an extent. But the media will paint everyone there as a Nazi anyway, so who gives a shit if a few of them actually are? If people would stop playing by THEIR rules and stop fearing the now meaningless titles of 'racist', 'fascist' and 'Nazi', and maybe adopt a few of the less reprehensible leftist tactics, we might be winning this culture war right now. They wrote the rulebook specifically so you would be fucked at every turn. Stop paying attention to the rulebook, throw it out.

Once upon a time, the captain and the mates of a ship grew so vain of their seamanship, so full of hubris and so impressed with themselves, that they went mad. They turned the ship north and sailed until they met with icebergs and dangerous floes, and they kept sailing north into more and more perilous waters, solely in order to give themselves opportunities to perform ever-more-brilliant feats of seamanship.

As the ship reached higher and higher latitudes, the passengers and crew became increasingly uncomfortable. They began quarreling among themselves and complaining of the conditions under which they lived.

“Shiver me timbers,” said an able seaman, “if this ain’t the worst voyage I’ve ever been on. The deck is slick with ice; when I’m on lookout the wind cuts through me jacket like a knife; every time I reef the foresail I blamed-near freeze me fingers; and all I get for it is a miserable five shillings a month!”

“You think you have it bad!” said a lady passenger. “I can’t sleep at night for the cold. Ladies on this ship don’t get as many blankets as the men. It isn’t fair!”

A Mexican sailor chimed in: “¡Chingado! I’m only getting half the wages of the Anglo seamen. We need plenty of food to keep us warm in this climate, and I’m not getting my share; the Anglos get more. And the worst of it is that the mates always give me orders in English instead of Spanish.”

“I have more reason to complain than anybody,” said an American Indian sailor. “If the palefaces hadn’t robbed me of my ancestral lands, I wouldn’t even be on this ship, here among the icebergs and arctic winds. I would just be paddling a canoe on a nice, placid lake. I deserve compensation. At the very least, the captain should let me run a crap game so that I can make some money.”

The bosun spoke up: “Yesterday the first mate called me a ‘fruit’ just because I suck cocks. I have a right to suck cocks without being called names for it!”
"It’s not only humans who are mistreated on this ship,” interjected an animal-lover among the passengers, her voice quivering with indignation. “Why, last week I saw the second mate kick the ship’s dog twice!”

One of the passengers was a college professor. Wringing his hands he exclaimed,
“All this is just awful! It’s immoral! It’s racism, sexism, speciesism, homophobia, and exploitation of the working class! It’s discrimination! We must have social justice: Equal wages for the Mexican sailor, higher wages for all sailors, compensation for the Indian, equal blankets for the ladies, a guaranteed right to suck cocks, and no more kicking the dog!”
“Yes, yes!” shouted the passengers. “Aye-aye!” shouted the crew. “It’s discrimination! We have to demand our rights!”

The cabin boy cleared his throat.
“Ahem. You all have good reasons to complain. But it seems to me that what we really have to do is get this ship turned around and headed back south, because if we keep going north we’re sure to be wrecked sooner or later, and then your wages, your blankets, and your right to suck cocks won’t do you any good, because we’ll all drown.”
But no one paid any attention to him, because he was only the cabin boy.

The captain and the mates, from their station on the poop deck, had been watching and listening. Now they smiled and winked at one another, and at a gesture from the captain the third mate came down from the poop deck, sauntered over to where the passengers and crew were gathered, and shouldered his way in amongst them. He put a very serious expression on his face and spoke thusly:
“We officers have to admit that some really inexcusable things have been happening on this ship. We hadn’t realized how bad the situation was until we heard your complaints. We are men of good will and want to do right by you. But — well — the captain is rather conservative and set in his ways, and may have to be prodded a bit before he’ll make any substantial changes. My personal opinion is that if you protest vigorously — but always peacefully and without violating any of the ship’s rules — you would shake the captain out of his inertia and force him to address the problems of which you so justly complain.”

Having said this, the third mate headed back toward the poop deck. As he went, the passengers and crew called after him, “Moderate! Reformer! Goody-liberal! Captain’s stooge!” But they nevertheless did as he said. They gathered in a body before the poop deck, shouted insults at the officers, and demanded their rights: “I want higher wages and better working conditions,” cried the able seaman. “Equal blankets for women,” cried the lady passenger. “I want to receive my orders in Spanish,” cried the Mexican sailor. “I want the right to run a crap game,” cried the Indian sailor. “I don’t want to be called a fruit,” cried the bosun. “No more kicking the dog,” cried the animal lover. “Revolution now,” cried the professor.

The captain and the mates huddled together and conferred for several minutes, winking, nodding and smiling at one another all the while. Then the captain stepped to the front of the poop deck and, with a great show of benevolence, announced that the able seaman’s wages would be raised to six shillings a month; the Mexican sailor’s wages would be raised to two-thirds the wages of an Anglo seaman, and the order to reef the foresail would be given in Spanish; lady passengers would receive one more blanket; the Indian sailor would be allowed to run a crap game on Saturday nights; the bosun wouldn’t be called a fruit as long as he kept his cocksucking strictly private; and the dog wouldn’t be kicked unless he did something really naughty, such as stealing food from the galley.

The passengers and crew celebrated these concessions as a great victory, but the next morning, they were again feeling dissatisfied.
“Six shillings a month is a pittance, and I still freeze me fingers when I reef the foresail,” grumbled the able seaman. “I’m still not getting the same wages as the Anglos, or enough food for this climate,” said the Mexican sailor. “We women still don’t have enough blankets to keep us warm,” said the lady passenger. The other crewmen and passengers voiced similar complaints, and the professor egged them on.

When they were done, the cabin boy spoke up — louder this time so that the others could not easily ignore him:
“It’s really terrible that the dog gets kicked for stealing a bit of bread from the galley, and that women don’t have equal blankets, and that the able seaman gets his fingers frozen; and I don’t see why the bosun shouldn’t suck cocks if he wants to. But look how thick the icebergs are now, and how the wind blows harder and harder! We’ve got to turn this ship back toward the south, because if we keep going north we’ll be wrecked and drowned.”

“Oh yes,” said the bosun, “It’s just so awful that we keep heading north. But why should I have to keep cocksucking in the closet? Why should I be called a fruit? Ain’t I as good as everyone else?”
“Sailing north is terrible,” said the lady passenger. “But don’t you see? That’s exactly why women need more blankets to keep them warm. I demand equal blankets for women now!”
“It’s quite true,” said the professor, “that sailing to the north imposes great hardships on all of us. But changing course toward the south would be unrealistic. You can’t turn back the clock. We must find a mature way of dealing with the situation.”

“Look,” said the cabin boy, “If we let those four madmen up on the poop deck have their way, we’ll all be drowned. If we ever get the ship out of danger, then we can worry about working conditions, blankets for women, and the right to suck cocks. But first we’ve got to get this vessel turned around. If a few of us get together, make a plan, and show some courage, we can save ourselves. It wouldn’t take many of us — six or eight would do. We could charge the poop, chuck those lunatics overboard, and turn the ship to the south.”

The professor elevated his nose and said sternly, “I don’t believe in violence. It’s immoral.”
“It’s unethical ever to use violence,” said the bosun.
“I’m terrified of violence,” said the lady passenger.

The captain and the mates had been watching and listening all the while. At a signal from the captain, the third mate stepped down to the main deck. He went about among the passengers and crew, telling them that there were still many problems on the ship.

“We have made much progress,” he said, “But much remains to be done. Working conditions for the able seaman are still hard, the Mexican still isn’t getting the same wages as the Anglos, the women still don’t have quite as many blankets as the men, the Indian’s Saturday-night crap game is a paltry compensation for his lost lands, it’s unfair to the bosun that he has to keep his cocksucking in the closet, and the dog still gets kicked at times.
“I think the captain needs to be prodded again. It would help if you all would put on another protest — as long as it remains nonviolent.”

As the third mate walked back toward the stern, the passengers and the crew shouted insults after him, but they nevertheless did what he said and gathered in front of the poop deck for another protest. They ranted and raved and brandished their fists, and they even threw a rotten egg at the captain (which he skillfully dodged).

After hearing their complaints, the captain and the mates huddled for a conference, during which they winked and grinned broadly at one another. Then the captain stepped to the front of the poop deck and announced that the able seaman would be given gloves to keep his fingers warm, the Mexican sailor would receive wages equal to three-fourths the wages of an Anglo seaman, the women would receive yet another blanket, the Indian sailor could run a crap game on Saturday and Sunday nights, the bosun would be allowed to suck cocks publicly after dark, and no one could kick the dog without special permission from the captain.

The passengers and crew were ecstatic over this great revolutionary victory, but by the next morning they were again feeling dissatisfied and began grumbling about the same old hardships.

The cabin boy this time was getting angry.
“You damn fools!” he shouted. “Don’t you see what the captain and the mates are doing? They’re keeping you occupied with your trivial grievances about blankets and wages and the dog being kicked so that you won’t think about what is really wrong with this ship — that it’s getting farther and farther to the north and we’re all going to be drowned. If just a few of you would come to your senses, get together, and charge the poop deck, we could turn this ship around and save ourselves. But all you do is whine about petty little issues like working conditions and crap games and the right to suck cocks.”

The passengers and the crew were incensed.
“Petty!!” cried the Mexican, “Do you think it’s reasonable that I get only three-fourths the wages of an Anglo sailor? Is that petty?”
“How can you call my grievance trivial? shouted the bosun. “Don’t you know how humiliating it is to be called a fruit?”
“Kicking the dog is not a ‘petty little issue!’” screamed the animal-lover. “It’s heartless, cruel, and brutal!”
“Alright then,” answered the cabin boy. “These issues are not petty and trivial. Kicking the dog is cruel and brutal and it is humiliating to be called a fruit. But in comparison to our real problem — in comparison to the fact that the ship is still heading north — your grievances are petty and trivial, because if we don’t get this ship turned around soon, we’re all going to drown.”
“Fascist!” said the professor.

“Counterrevolutionary!” said the lady passenger. And all of the passengers and crew chimed in one after another, calling the cabin boy a fascist and a counterrevolutionary. They pushed him away and went back to grumbling about wages, and about blankets for women, and about the right to suck cocks, and about how the dog was treated. The ship kept sailing north, and after a while it was crushed between two icebergs and everyone drowned.

Ha! Okay, I finished my real work.

Floyd was extremely intoxicated, as we know. He was acting erratically from the first moment officers interacted with him. Lane and Kueng were partners. I am not sure why two new and inexperienced officers would be paired up, but they were and were the first squad on the scene. Lane and Kueng noticed that the three occupants of the Mercedes SUV Floyd was driving were moving around a lot as they were walking up to the vehicle. Lane drew his gun just under two minutes into his footage because Floyd had his right hand out of sight and refused FOUR commands in ten seconds to show his hands. Lane later said that he thought Floyd might try to drive away. Floyd blubbers for a few seconds about getting shot by police before finally cooperating. Lane holsters his gun about 40 seconds after drawing it. Floyd continues to refuse to exit the vehicle, so Lane pulls him out and a struggle ensues for nearly a minute. Both Lane and Kueng are needed to get handcuffs onto Floyd. Kueng handles Floyd while Lane talks with the other car occupants. Floyd’s female friend implies that Floyd is crazy and makes a cuckoo gesture at her head to describe him. Kueng and Lane move Floyd across the street. While they’re moving him, Kueng notices foam around Floyd’s mouth. Floyd falls down several times and is generally uncooperative. He does not listen to orders and starts resisting again. They calm him down and start to search Floyd’s pockets, where a weed chillum pipe is found. Lane is calmly giving orders this whole time, explaining to Floyd that they can’t tell what he’s trying to do and is not following orders, which is why they are reacting how they are. Eight and a half minutes in, Floyd continues to refuse getting in the car, saying he is claustrophobic, “why don’t you believe me?” Floyd is completely delirious at this point, eyes extremely wide and wild looking. Foam at his mouth is visible. Floyd continues arguing about getting into the squad car for another minute or two. Kueng pushes Floyd down into the seat of the car and Floyd says he can’t breathe for the first time. He is nowhere near the ground when he starts complaining about not being able to breathe. Lane then says he is going to pull Floyd into the car. It seemed like Lane pulled too hard or Floyd pushed as he was pulling and Floyd ended up partially on top of Lane. This is when Floyd asks to be put on the ground, but it takes another minute until Floyd is on the ground. Chauvin and the Asian cop arrive while Floyd is still off the ground. Floyd is complaining about not being able to breathe again. Chauvin, Lane, and Kueng all take Floyd down to the ground completely after another struggle. Two officers lose their radios and Floyd’s shoe is knocked off. Floyd continues to kick and struggle on the ground, which is when Chauvin kneels on him and pins his left wrist back further in cuffs. Lane is calm once he gets Floyd’s legs pinned down. Veins were popping out of Floyd’s right arm. Floyd keeps moving and writhing on the ground as he says he can’t breathe. Chauvin and Lane both tell Floyd over the next few minutes to relax and that he’s using a lot of oxygen for someone who can’t breathe. Chauvin asks what Floyd is on and Lane asks Chauvin about PCP intoxication signs, says “isn’t that the shaking of the eyes?” Floyd is still moving and breathing for about four to five minutes while Chauvin has him pinned. When Floyd stops moving and breathing, it happens quickly in about 20-30 seconds and then Kueng is unable to feel a pulse. A crowd has gathered and is yelling at the officers. The Asian cop is on the sidewalk and controlling the crowd. He never touches Floyd. Chauvin seemed in shock and like he froze during the pinning. He barely moves during those few minutes, other than looking around at a white dangerhair who comes up yelling behind the officers and as we know from the crowd footage, looking at the crowd a few times. Other than that, he doesn’t move his hand that is pinning Floyd’s wrist or his leg and seemed stiff or frozen. EMS arrives about a minute after Kueng is unable to find a pulse; they were already en route. Chauvin releases his knee once EMS walks up to Floyd’s body and they move him to a stretcher using one of those white sheet things you see in old war movies. Chauvin looks like he is in shock.

Kueng goes back into Cup Foods to talk to the employees, who say that both Floyd and his dreadlocked male friend used fake bills. Floyd was successful and his friend was not. The manager said they also had more counterfeits, which is corroborated by the exhibit photos from the vehicle that show crumpled counterfeits in the seats.

Lane gets into the ambulance with EMS and starts CPR. Floyd has road rash on his left shoulder and left side of his face. He is also bleeding from his nose. Lane does compressions for a minute and a half until EMS puts on a compression machine. Lane then leaves the ambulance calmly. EMS was parked on the street around 40th Street administering CPR and was not driving towards a hospital. Lane gets into a fire truck that arrives and calmly recounts what happened to the firefighter. She seemed sympathetic, chats with Lane and laughs when talking about how nice the fire truck is. She wonders what Floyd was on and says “that’s a shame.” Lane is fiddling with handcuffs taken off Floyd. The firefighter tries to comfort Lane and says that if CPR is started early, chances are good. Lane gets out of the fire truck and checks with EMS. The compression machine is no longer on Floyd and EMS says he will be DOA to dispatch.

TL;DR: Floyd was extremely intoxicated, acted erratically, resisted several times, and didn’t follow orders. Chauvin seemed to freeze and was in shock. This is not 2nd degree murder, possibly negligent manslaughter at most. I don’t see how the other officers could be guilty of anything.

Well Russia defaulted on their debt and had to devalue their currency just over 20 years ago, so...
I don't feel the need to keep going with this argument, but America turning into place I don't like doesn't mean it won't be powerful on the world stage.

edit: Russia is literally in Junk Bond territory

I mean this HAS to be trolling. No sane person would wrote such things. Or am I just :optimistic: that no public person would state such nonsense???

I haven't seen the response to your objection, but I imagine that it is or will be this:

"When you are white in this society you are a fish and whiteness is the sea. Of course you take it for granted that these are virtues because society has been molded to suit you. You can't imagine societies built with different values as a foundation."

Or some bullshit like that.

It's not america that's powerful, it's the banks that own it.

I am confusing why people is trying to defend the cop now when the cop was ties with a DEM prosecutor. Nobody researched who was the last prosecutor in that area. (Possibly Biden's VP pick).
See the video:
Just remember that 1 of 2 lawyers ends up being wrong for a living. They aren't the authority people like to see them as.

Just pointing out that our success as a nation hinges entirely on being in bed with the most crooked people on earth.

I don't know if anyone takes issue with that. In a non-unipolar system, the US is going to have to lay off of exporting democracy and regime change altogether. It's not going to be able to afford to project its power to play world police, so it's going to need the corrupt, autocratic powers of the world to agree to various treaties and economic engagements that largely allow them to operate without fear of sanctions in their own territory, if it wants any hope of forestalling another squabbling of the great powers.

I mean they can't just call the debt they hold. People could stop investing which would be a huge problem, but they can't just call in for the face value as long as we're adequately servicing the debt, which we are.

Right. I'm saying even in the worst case, the US government becomes unable to get cash. US businesses are naturally also affected, though not as much - and not as much as in countries with central banks much more integrated than the fed. I'm saying even in the worst case, where we can't or we refuse to service the debt, it just means we cut back on programs which are largely experiments of the 20th century and enter a period of harsh austerity - not Weimar/Zimbabwa-style anarchy.

Not gonna lie, i think it is the funniest shit that there are black people that legitimately believe they’re the master race. Apparently black people were just good and peaceful until whitey came along and corrupted them. It’s so awesome seeing some of this “we wuz kangz” shit go mainstream.
Hitler would be proud. Then again if they are the master race why do they come to Europe or America where the supposed lower race lives? Or are that just the outcasts?

November will be a Rubicon moment. It won't be pretty either way. I'm nervous as all hell, because the stakes are so damn high.

If Trump wins, the ensuing riots will make these past two months look like a picnic. If Biden wins, we cross the event horizon from Clown World to ShitEarth.

So heartburn NOW or heartburn LATER? God help us.

The USA's debt is impossible to pay off, by design. Abolishing Usury is the only hope the world has.

Relevant to this is the wisdom of self-defense sage Massad Ayoob:

"Most expert witnesses are prostitutes, because lawyers are pimps".

"Lawyers learn the first week of law school: if the law is on your side, argue the law. If the facts are on your side, argue the facts. If neither are on your side, attack the witness, make him look like a liar".

Addendum, directed at the press:

"The Miami Herald is to journalism what Joseph Mengele was to pediatrics" (replace any MSM outlet here)

"You suck one cock, you're a cocksucker forever. You tell a lie, you're a liar forever".
