Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

Make me wish Genndy Tartakovsky could've gotten a second chance, sure Grievous wouldn't be all powerful but at least he wouldn't be a punching bag or underpowered to the dirt like he not allowed to win a single duel (like Filoni did) and I wouldn't have to worry about Grievous getting shitted on by fans.

But of course Filoni Wars "existed" even the fans would worship him no matter what even if you say that the "Filoni Wars did Grievous dirty" they'll still defend him.

Also just for reminder:
Filoni don't believe that Grievous could take out Ventress in a lightsaber fight.

So fucking stupid. Star Wars isn't Dragon Ball. The Force doesn't make you skilled at swordsmen-ship. These are actual characters.

Ventress would beat Grevious if she underwent training and development in the force, but would lose in a Lightsaber fucking battle.

She's a fucking neophyte who won't ever develop past acolyte status because she's a rabid dog who Dooku treats like a hammer. Grevious is a scalpel. A tactician who doesn't fight losing battles and who can hold his own against Jedi used to deflecting blasters. He's menacing and intelligent. His swordsmanship is from Dooku and he surpasses her in the lightsaber because Dooku doesn't see Grevious as a threat to him or Sidious.

It's like, why even have Grievous as a serious character if you're only going to undermine him constantly...

Grievous could've been similar how Pong Krell or Maul the way how they are taken seriously and a threat to the Republic but to me I feel like all Filoni see Grievous just a wannabe force-sensitive who think he superior to a Jedi or Sith.

I actually hate Maul in Tcw, Filoni took everything unique and cool about him and made him a whiny, cackling villain who can't stfu about Kenobi or anything, also he's only treated as a threat when he's with Filoni's donut steel. He gets his ass kicked by an unarmed Ahsoka, but of course Ahsoka is covered in tons of plot armor.

I always thought that Grevious was basically a brute force way of taking on/assassinating Jedi. At the end of the day, no matter how strong in the force a Jedi is, they're still living beings, still tire, and usually only carried one lightsaber (unless you're Pong Krell). Grievous was a cyborg who was basically immune to tiring out, and could overwhelm nearly any Jedi through sheer force with all the lightsabers he had. I don't know how that turned into him being a complete coward just because he wisely ran away when the Battle of Coruscant was going south, but that's what happened.

I don't mind Grievous running away, or fighting dirty sometimes, He's an experience intelligent battled tactian and the most important asset to the cis besides dooku, but it's pretty clear Filoni misunderstood the character, and would always wine to George when his staff tried to fight him on him or about everything. In general Dave Filoni struggles to write villains that aren't his than his own creations, just remember the tragedy of Thrawn.

One thing I noticed in the EU, in the Fate of the Jedi books especially, is that Masters like Luke Skywalker, Corran Horn, Jaina Solo, etc were able to draw on the Force almost perpetually to keep their bodies going, even after days of almost nonstop battle. I thought it was kind of lame during the Jedi Temple assault but can understand why the authors did it to heighten the drama.

That another thing I don't mind about of him matching his ROTS portrayed but I feel they overdid the running away from a fight, him using his four arm early in a duel in the Filoni Wars and to me I like the idea that he uses his four arm as a surprise attack.

I dunno, that quote of his sounds more like he's the kind of purist that doesn't understand how somebody like Geievous (or Thrawn, or Jango, or Boba, or...) could possibly beat or kill a Jedi. He's just a silly normie, after all, and doesn't have access to the all-important Force that lets him do silly tricks and fuck with people's perceptions, it's not like he can fight intelligently or anything. If he were smart, he'd have access to the Force, after all!

Filioni writes villains like idiots because he can't comprehend the idea of a villain fighting intelligently, using quick wits, careful planning, and a bit of luck to overcome a challenging foe like a hero would. Much like his high-vaunted ideal of the Jedi, he underestimates the abilities of those without the Force. In the olden days, we had competent writers who could show precisely how bad of an idea this mindset was, both in and out of setting.

SPACE WHALES!!!!!!

seen people say Kenobi survived order 66 by dumb luck, and Ahsoka survived by pure skill, Therefore Ahsoka is better than Kenobi.
Do the same short-bus riding individuals that make this claim remember that Kenobi was shot down by a fucking tank battery at a ten mile distance? That can't be declared a demonstration of skill when he isn't even given a chance to show it, up close against a platoon of Clones.

In fact, when put against a platoon of Clones in the exact situation later in the film, he completely clobbers them.

I know these Ahsoka fantards have a marginal existence outside of watching TCW and huffing Filoni's farts, but some of them should consider watching the actual films sometimes.

Anakin Solo and the Young Jedi Knights did a similar tactic during their doomed mission to Myrkyr in NJO, and even that only barely kept them going. And it didn't save 2/3rds of them from dying brutal deaths, including Anakin himself.

True. It's been awhile since I read the 50 fucking books in the NJO arc. Anakin's death was already preordained by the writers though. I always thought that it should have been Anakin vs Jacen but I can understand why they made the twins fight.

Don't forget jerking it to Ahsoka lolicon too. I'd say 1 out of 2 or 3 of them are pedophiles too given that's how her shitty fanbase started to grow.

Gross. I guess they love her so much, they can't stop thinking about her everyday, too bad we'll get more Ahsoka stuff like having her own show if the rumor true and appearing in Mandalorian. I'm tired of Ahsoka.

Speaking of pedos...
One of the guys who operated the Falcon ride at GE was a pedo. This happened back in mid june so I'm surprised to have only found out about it now and nobody talked about it.

In other news...

@Itchy Bacca held an interview with Anthony Daniels' former assistant and legacy SW interviewer Dennis Pellegrom who also decided to speak up on how difficult it became to work with Lucasfilm (a company he was regularly involved with for interviews and production info) after Disney took over despite having a trusted and extensive history of interviews with them.

The video of sick tourists coughing and complaining at Disney that was posted on twitter (and that I shared a screencap of in this thread) got blocked as a "bad faith copyright strike".
Did anyone save the video?

Looks like August 4th is D-Day.

Yet ironically they decided to make parks based on nothing from the films to appease old fans turned parents, turning a Tatooine theme park into a chinese knockoff with sequel references and a mediocre arcade game inside of a familiar ship disguised as a ride. At least me and Bob can I agree on something for once, Disney didn't buy SW to make SW movies, just to whore out the IP even harder than George did while making shitty and corporate-approved films.

I mean Bob's not entirely wrong here. Granted, his compulsion to consoom blinds him to Disney's monetary woes but he is right in saying that the movies are formalities. Merch and parks are far more profitable. The problem is that Disney ran those into the ground due to the fact that the reason people consoom Star Wars is because they like the movies. If you make shitty movies, nobody will want to buy the shitty toys or go to the shitty parks.

The thing about Nu Thrawn is That he’s probably one of the best nu canon by default. It’s the idiocracy effect where Nu Thrawn himself has above average intelligence at best but compared to everyone around him he’s godamn Moriarity
