What I'm wondering is that when Eva does his suicide bait shtick, the person getting it always bends the knee instead of the reaction of "here's an hotline" or "why are you killing yourself over a game" plus Eva is known for suicide baiting. Is empathy that strong, or there's something behind the curtains, like threatening?

Maybe it's just me, but if I was making my own YanSim and Alex tried to suicide-bate me into stopping, I'd immediately call his bluff and take it as a sign to go full speed ahead. If anything, it would only encourage me to work better and faster.
Why even bother? All you need to say is "people who use suicide as means to get what they want, deserve it the most".

A few more snips from the Lovesick discord:

We'll see how long it lasts.
For Christ's sake, I would say, that at least they learn, but no, only if they nuke their discord with farewell message "We want to make our game, not participate in stupid drama". Hell, do they really expect that Alex's remaining dickriders and just trolls would not shit their server? If they want attention, like Alex, they will never overtake him.

Hmmm... We know he offered $10K to get "his" subreddit "back" once. Think it was $10K? Anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if he tried bribing them to stop working on their game.

Not that we didn't know it already.

On unrelated news, Alex got a new paypig of almost $300/month:

My expectations for Alex were low, but holy fuck. He's so narcissistic that he thinks other people's hard work "dEvAlOoZ!!1111" his own, and will do anything to take them down. In other words, Lovesick and WNM reminded him how untalented he was.

Well, as toxic as the community this type of game attracts, I don't think it is a bad move to keep the discord server and other social media active. If DrApeis stays true to his word, and keeps developing the game without participating much in drama, it won't affect him as much. However if you want a succesful game you need to make people aware of your existence and build a community that is going to play the game, even if it is composed by faggots.

In other news, snippets of Alex being creepy are always appreciated:

There are a bunch of them in r/Osana, seems like our Dev is quite chatty today and as always every time he opens his mouth there is a new hot take.

Based on what happened with tinyBuild, it's entirely within the realm of possibility though I think going with the "Stop working on your version of the game or I'll make your life hell" route would be far more likely to get a response of "eat shit" instead of the tried and true "Oh woe is me" routine. Based on the number of DMs that have surfaced thus far no threats were probably given this time because that's the kinda thing someone very cross with Alex wouldn't think twice about exposing.

There are people in this country right now that have 4 kids and are barely getting by on unemployment or SSI while paypigs like this creature are blowing an average car payment on a game with less chance of being released than Star Citizen.

Idk if this has already been posted, but someone in the y_s subreddit estimated that Alex has made over $1m total on the game, which is more than most finished indie games make, and (at his peak) was making $200-$250k in game-related income per year.

One full decade of Fag Sim's comatose existence will be wonderful.

Four more years. I can't wait for 2024. It'll be a chance for everyone to reflect on everything since this thing's creation.

I wonder how many more YanSim-lookalike corpses will pile up. The future's looking bright and dim at the same time.

This is fucking pathetic. Alex has gone to a brand new low. However, I think he'll hit even lower lows than this shit.

At this point, I think that the only way for a proper YanSim clone to be created is to make it completely open-source, so that you can work with a revolving door of devs. The only thing you have to do is have a well-defined vision of the game and make sure that all of the pull-requests conform to it.

That's because you know that Alex has a history of suicide-baiting. Someone who's underage and never had to deal with someone who suicide-baits wouldn't be willing or even able to risk having blood on their hands. Alex knows this, which is why it's so disguisting.

An open-source project would also be great because it would open the door to a proliferation of mods and forks, which would be ideal given the community's combination of occasional creativity with extreme factionalism/frequent schism. Once a functional product is finally completed, all of the dramatards who can't work effectively with others can just go off and do their own thing and make their own forks with various tweaks from the original source code.

I'd love to see the Venn Diagram of autism that would be the open source community plus the Yandere Sim community. What's funny is someone has already tried this, and they got up to the basic conversations with NPCs and that was the last update; was three years ago. There's a link in the sidebar saying it's a 2020 update on July 4th, but it just links to YandereDataDigger's discord server, which to me guarantees that whoever is working on this is likely also a complete sped.

Space Station 13 also has lots of people trying to recreate it and failing to do so. In the community it's known as 'the curse'. YandereSim seems to have a similar fate. Frankly, whoever makes a YanSim game should actually be passionate about a similar style of game and realistically think about what would be fun about the genre, not trying to emulate a shitty game for teenage girls. The premise is simple: you're a serial murderer who has to return to the scene of the crime, do whatever you think would be fun from there.

Translation: I'm going to continue pushing my problems onto everyone around me like a jackass. Please stop recommending I do anything to improve myself.
He has to. It's Alex's only way to remain relevant with development on the game coming to a standstill, which he'll of course blame on "muh depreshion".
