They're going to be pushing this hard, I think, because Trump didn't take the bait and create martyrs for them. All the actual deaths so far have been from looters, Ethiopian immigrants, and CHAZ security.

The consistent "why aren't YoOoOuUuU gUuUuYs in the streets fighting with us" is the most transparent and infuriating tactic in all of this.

I can't possibly imagine where they came up with the "go do the dirty work for us while we wait for you to all be inevitably neutralized" strategy, it isn't like this is what Mao did when the Nationalists and the Communists briefly allied against the Japanese...

The cartographers point had some potential but they veer off into uselessness pretty quickly.

You aren't going to want that phone which you stored all the pictures of "supplies" which apparently are just laying about on street corners like this is Mercenaries 2. The "phone" and "supplies" points really can't be pointed at laughed at sufficiently.

Where they could have gone was that one definitely should mentally map areas they plan to "operate" in as knowing an area like the back of your hand combined with a decent sense of direction is far more useful than any electronic methods. They can't backtrace a mental map to an identifiable target.

But these are people that believe the revolution will be live tweeted so what am I expecting. :story:

The city of Portland has shown it is completely unable to handle their outbreak of literal rebels. If we have to choose between authoritarian Marxists with an ax to grind against whites or the Federal Government, I'll go with the Fed every time.

I bought a gun to protect my family in the case of civil unrest, and there’s a far greater likelihood that I’ll have to do that against rioters and agitators than I will against the feds.

I know this because that dude and his wife literally had to do just that.

I’m not jazzed about people being nabbed, but I’d bet the farm on the following:

1) The people being party-vanned have already been violent, specifically against federal property.

2) This is not nearly as widespread as the rumors claim.

3) When the cases bear out, it’ll show that other than unconventional arrest methods, there will likely be little breach of due process. Otherwise they won’t be able to hold these clowns except maybe under terrorism charges, which would be another powder keg entirely.

If any of the above ends up not being the case, you’ll start to see my sympathy but until then, I’m inclined to believe that Portland is now a little safer.

Those same people gleefully crow about how every year the South is further and further humiliated: They laugh at people upset at that humiliation, saying that they "should go back to their own country-- oh wait, you don't have one anymore"; They say how there should be another Sherman to put the South in their place; And they generally celebrate every time a Southern state capitulates to the mob they support.

And after all of that, I am supposed to be sympathetic to their situation?

I know they truly hate me, so why would I care when the boot is on their neck? Because the state would use their power against me? The State is already trending in the direction of doing that in the long term, especially as they allow payment processors to discriminate based on political views, so in my eyes it is a completely moot point.
