This actually reminds me of the Dahvie Vanity situation to some extent. There's video footage of him demanding girls' bras and the culture surrounding his behaviour towards teenage girls was seen as completely normal, and regarded as the "most well known secret", or whatever.

Though not quite to the same extent because he's just a loser incel on the internet, I'm seeing a similar pattern with Alex and his Discord server. His fanbase evidently thinks it's normal behaviour for a grown-arsed man to think this way and talk to his fanbase as he does.
