This means there is no way to pay for a street dated item, and this is not even considering that an employee who found a way to sell a street dated item would risk their job.

Most of the websites selling the figure put the ship date in July or very early August, with the Amazon page already having reviews from people who recieved their epic robot toy. So it seems much more likely that the store just got the shipment of figures a little early, and that there was no enforced street date, just a general idea of when production would be finished and delivered to stores.

Still, I don't know why he would exaggerate the process of buying a Transformers toy.
