The dumbest part is that the only countries that shut down harder than America are China and India, they just assume that because their side here is calling for it this must be implemented fully in more "enlightened" countries.

I think a lot of bringing up Obama's brother was that Obama was constantly preaching about lifting people out of poverty and helping others, but he couldn't even be bothered to help his own family out of poverty. That was actually a reflection on how his own actions didn't line up to his rhetoric and showed him as a hypocrite. But yes if it was purely "his brother doesn't like him" that would be wholly irrelevant.
