The Twitch DMCA Saga (Three Times Resilient!)

Welp, Twitch knows how to send a message, that's for sure. Nobody's safe now. Even Twitch itself, cough-cough, Machinima, EVO, SoK

That's it the vest is off Phil means business.

Dsp can dodge his taxes but can't dodge the banhammer of Twitch's brilliant staff of a crazed human deer and the human simp brigade

DSP just asked SuperHound to prove his innocence. But didn't DSP say it's impossible to prove you didn't do something? Like, it would be impossible to prove, for example, that you didn't spend $40k on wrestling gacha.
Someone made him switch which corner he begs on today.
A line has been crossed.
He will have his pound of pig flesh.

I do find it a bit weird phil got no emails, considering the DMCA system is highly automated and we have hundreds of hours of DSP rants on youtube dmca automation and how it's a broken system of automated garbage. I'm pretty sure an email is generated right away as the suspension is automated afaik. It also seems like everyone else who got suspended for DMCA got an email.

Somehow Phil got nothing...I think he's too lazy and don't think hes the type to orchestrate something fake like this but I find it weird

I feel similar. Everything today was so weird, but I don't know why Phil would bother orchestrating all this for what? A day of drama when Phil has started getting boring? I guess it's possible, but no.

This is all part of his plan to take over Twitch. On Monday, some middle manager is going to be forwarded a handful of progressively less cohesive emails talking about trolls, his livelihood, and how hard he has it. It's going to strike a chord. She's going to forward them to her boss. He will forward it to regional. From there it reaches office of the VP. He feels a resonance. This man IS the American dream. He initiates a hostile takeover. On Tuesday, Phil Burnell is introduced as lifelong CEO of Twitch.
He's holding a billowing flag of his face in a Sonic toque. In the distance, you can hear Invincible by Pat Benetar.
