The Twitch DMCA Saga (Three Times Resilient!)

So correct me if I'm wrong. Phil got banned, got a lot of extra attention and more money than he would have gotten on a normal stream, and came out of this completely unscathed, all within 12 hours?

I wouldn't say unscathed completely. His account basically got reset. He's still partnered, but all of his stuff like follower count, badges uploaded, and so on, sound like they've been wiped. So not a huge deal, but it does mean his account actually got kinda nuked.

About a hundred million years ago when I was doing web design and coding, it was standard practice to keep your originals somewhere and a copy somewhere else, because computers are vengeful, spiteful cunts that will fuck your data just because. Wanna take bets this is Phil's first lesson in this subject?

Wait Superhound got doxed? Link?

If you go to Hound's main twitter account PreSuperHound, and view his last tweet, go to the comments and scroll down. You'll see someone who posted the doc of all his information. He exposed his IP address when he was editign a wiki and that's how they got him. Superhound has his own website detractor blog something, he collects IP address so becareful. He got DSP IP during his recent stream that ended lol

Almost like he reset it himself on his end?

I imagine that kinda backup would be on Twitches end, not DSP's

Agreed

You gotta hope, man. Imagine the frothing xat the mouth at the prospect that he will have to demand people email him all these files all over again, and then the monumental task of uploading them. When does this man have that kind of time?

>Dr. Disrespect still banned
>DSP unbanned after a single tweet.

The man is an unstoppable force.

To be fair, Rackets probably would have sued twitch for free just to generate attention to his channel. Having to deal with that would have been more expensive to twitch then just putting him back on.

Further confirmation though that absolutely nothing can touch this man. His luck rolls are uncanny

So how exactly did he get banned? Did he click on Superhound’s website live on stream this morning and got his IP captured?

Why would he click on that link in the first place? God I love how inept and incompetent DSP is when it comes to anything technical when his entire livelihood more or less depends on some aspect of technical proficiency to run his “business” properly.

This morning Superhound put out some dumb tweet Phil when down and was suspended an hour into the day stream.

He clicked a link during his return to Twitch after it was restored he was big mad about this but he did squeeze a decent chunk of cash from his Paypigs. We have to wait to see where this goes but it could make for an interesting weekend.

so then my vincent_van_gout account is back in action!
Well, Phil can still ban you. I checked his channel if I could chat in it...and I could. Granted, he banned my main channel a couple of years ago, but it's been not banned now.

Edit: nevermind, was looking at the wrong channel.
