It's a common misconception that when you're placed under arrest, you have to be read your rights otherwise it totally doesn't count because the Miranda Rights are a magic spell or some dogshit, I don't know. That's genuinely not what they are and it's not some kind of dumb ritual, I have no idea where that comes from other than people watching too many movies.

The Miranda Rights only apply in situations where the police would be required to detain you for questioning. If the cops see you smashing bricks through windows, lighting cars on fire, and running up and down the streets in riot gear, they don't have any questions for you. You will not be read your rights. These people watch too many movies.

Correct. If you are arrested and start shouting "I killed Epstein! Prince Andrew paid me through Hilary Clinton to do it!", that statement is inadmissible in court until you are mirandized. That doesn't stop them from arresting you for the crime.

Secular Talk is still butthurt over Jordan Peterson being opposed to pornography.
To be honest, both of them are lolcows to begin with and there's a reason why they have threads on this website in the first place.

So with Jordan B. Peterson, he's basically just a Sargon of Akkad but with most of the edginess not being present in Jordan B. Peterson himself anyway and he has done some stupid things such as the time he tried to sue a feminist critic that called him a 'misogynist' once. But what I hate the most about the guy is his horrid fandom which spawned other lolcows such as 'Coach Red Pill' later on.

As for Kyle Kulinski (Secular Talk), he's basically just an old relic of the New Atheism movement that was once a juggernaut back in the late 2000's and now these days he's barely even that relevant anymore and he is now considered a joke. So much so that even the Rational Wiki (which is also made up of a bunch of atheist neckbeards) see him as an idiot. Also, the fact that Kyle Kulinski still associates himself with a now dying progressive news outlet that denies the Armenian Genocide also doesn't help him either.

So overall, I just stay away from these types regardless of what politics they adopt. I can easily smell 'lolcow' miles away anyway.
Well let's see here then. In over the course of a month, a bunch of jobless losers burned their cities to the ground, beat up innocent people, and destroy a lot of federal property. What did they think was going to happen?

If you're going to try to start an uprising then expect your sorry ass to get arrested and taken in for questioning by that point.

So you have the right to protest (peacefully of course) but you don't have the right to be a violent thing burning down buildings and beating up people that you don't agree with then.

To be fair, the sucject matter is hardly a "lolcow" just because a couple of sperges decides to make a thread about them on this website. I still find some of this website's users fascination in shitting on Jordan Peterson to be mostly interesting, if nothing else. The man is quirky, yes, but a lolcow? Not in a million years. I suppose that to those with a case of particularly unwashed penises, people like Peterson represents a downright sickening ideology with their trivial talk of responsibility and such. It seems that his prefered diet and tragic addiction to opioids makes him a laughingstock amongst the degenerate and unwashed masses though. Your mom must be proud over your self-proclaimed ability to smell out clowns on the Internet. Now clean your room.

On another note, what is it with idiots and the Geneva Convention? There seems to be a particular brand of morons who invoke it at every turn to justify their inane takes on basically everything under the sun. I remember it making the rounds several years ago when people posted it to their Facebook timelines in an amusing effort to gain legal protection against Facebook claiming the personal information posted on the website to be part of the company's properties.

Well I don't know, the fact that he tried to sue a feminist critic because she once called him a misogynist does show me that he has insecurities (for a guy that preaches about why morons getting triggered are total losers he sure can get triggered easily) and he also thinks that one can quit being an alcoholic if you just pray it away (which is bullshit). This is just some of the dumb stuff he's said and done that put's me off about him.

Now to be fair, to the credit of Jordan B. Peterson he's manage to avoid many of the big traps that his unhinged opponents set up for him in the attempts to screw him over while in the case of Sargon of Akkad he doesn't really stop and think about his next move which is why he's a bigger lolcow anyway.

So for that, I consider Jordan B. Peterson a lolcow but a low-tier one at best because he has managed to stay away from any serious controversy other than pissing off a punch of dumb trannies and saying and doing dumb stuff that makes him a hypocrite at times but his own fanbase really makes up for that where his own fans tend to be autstic MRAs that take the whole MGTOW way too seriously to the point that it just comes off as very cringy anyway.

Now as for the Geneva Convention rules, this only really applies to how war should be done (such as how any humanitarian aid should be distributed and what horrendous acts are considered 'War Crimes'). I don't really know why these idiots think that war rules that only apply to the countries that go to war against each other are somehow applicable to a government arresting any violent thugs but this is what happens when a public education system is shit then.

And to clean your room. One of the most shocking, outrageous, horrific things of note in the past 5 years, that shook woke culture to it's core, was a psychologist telling people that they should work on self improvement rather than pointless rage and activism, being a useful idiot for the radical left.

To say nothing about other stuff. Get married. Start a family. Be faithful. Take responsibility. Don't look at porn and stop fucking masturbating. (The fact that a minor Jewish organization went after the NoFap guys trying to get them taken offline was eye opening as hell.)
Everything in moderation. A lot of people go overboard on shit and get addicted. Porn is good in moderation. But realize its not reality and its entertainment at the end of the day. Drugs and Alcohol is good, but going overboard can kill you. All of these vices have been around since social groups became a thing. They're never going away, ever. We tried to abstain from Alcohol legally and it created the mob. People drank moonshine and hurt themselves.

A primer on the Geneva Convention on war:

Again, Obamacare was sabotaged by the pharmaceutical industry. Healthcare is ridiculously expensive because of a monopoly of medical expenses through drugs, care and treatments. Costs go up, but the workload is the same.
The pharmas and insurance companies paid for it, after all people were forced to buy insurance. Healthcare is expensive because it's not even remotely a free market, it's bureaucratic shit at all levels. Hospitals approve other hospitals, insurance is tied to an employer, costs are hidden, companies can't compete across state lines.. it's a disaster and adding more red tape doesn't do anything for it except enrich the bureaucrats and politicians.

And yet people blame the doctors.

I don't have any idea what stuff costs.

It's a complete disaster where what any given procedure changes cost based on private insurance vs Medicare vs cash/out of pocket and how the bureaucrats feel that day and if a person fucked up at any point on the paperwork, whether or not there's some freeloaders needing to be paid for, how the hospital admin is feeling...

Just allowing insurance over state lines would do a lot, as well as requiring prices to be listed.

Well pay attention then you retard, because their uniform patches are clearly visible in the videos and the CBP already "took credit" for the arrest. Do they have to get a megaphone and a neon sign before people like this know what branch they're dealing with?

Thanks for the good laugh though, local Twitter dipshit. "The Feds aren't listening to what the Governor is demanding! This is terrorism!" Man, they really, really don't teach civics classes in school anymore, do they.

True. A lot of those are feeding on themselves.

  • For example, let's suppose something simple - maybe a doctor's visit with regular checkup and blood lab work cost $100.
  • First, medicare et al are government run price fixed services. So it ends up paying what the bureaucrats think they should. Let's say... $70.
  • Well the office still has to pay employees, operate equipment, etc which means they still need those funds. No big deal then, they'll just charge the next private insurance patient $130 to make up the difference.
  • Then there's even more fun rules and regulations that can get involved, including some that prevent you from refusing service to anyone. So let's say a homeless guy comes in with no insurance and obviously no ability to pay. Again, the private insurance guy will have to make up the difference, so now the bill's up to $230.
And this is barely scratching the surface of everything that goes into it. It really is a form of socialized medicine now - only they just hit you up for it when you use the medical infrastructure. Now imagine whatever insane medical bill your last visit (or that of a family or friend) entailed, and picture that hitting your paycheck annually. Every year, forever. That's what single-payer would be.

Except worse, because it can always get worse.

At least Trump has been trying to make medical prices visible.

We list our prices. But the prices don't matter. ED reimbursement (what I do) is like pennies on the dollar compared to our price list.

Oh and you're not allowed to charge self-pay patients a lower price because CMS will fuck you.
