Someone using the name "null" along with an alleged "team" got into Alex's reddit account and unban everyone who got banned on the official subreddit iirc.

do have to add, that it has been abit over a week now after the hack and neither Alex or the hacker/(hackers) have said anything besides, "Hey we hacked Alex, go have fun and ignore the Osana Reddit." I haven't seen anywhere where Alex may have actually added his two-cents to the issue.

With the exception of the loading screens, should the game window not have focus for any reason (like alt-tabbing or opening up the Snipping Tool) the game doesn't keep chugging along or open a pause menu. It just completely stops until focus is regained and the FPS counter either displays a very low value or disappears entirely.

Those loading screens in the "game" are something fierce. They're not anywhere near GTA Online or Destiny 1 but they still feel terrible.

On another note: Goddamn Alex, nobody needs to know the dislikes and likes of non-essential characters. Have you ever actually played Hitman?

Thanks for the rundown. I imagined it wasn't as "heroic" or exciting as the people from Reddit were making it to be. I've been checking the sub reddit from time to time just for the memes. It's just quite funny seeing it have way more people active and posting than the new, official one.

I think that Alex or someone else already contacted Reddit staff about taking the sub back but, they didn't do anything about it lol.

Edit : NVM, checked NBoR profile and followed the posts. Such a shame that the hacking was handled so poorly, and that now they think that null unironicaly did the epic hax and saved Reddit.

This is a good example of Alex struggling to understand what genre YanSim should be. Putting details into non-essential NPCs is pointless for a Hitman clone, but good for an RPG. Oblivion quite famously gave every NPC their own likes, needs, and routines as part of their worldbuilding. Of course, Oblivion was made by a big team, this was never their highest priority, and they still ended up being criticized for the NPC design and voice-acting, since minor details don't override glaring flaws. But hey, if Alex knew game design, he wouldn't have such a large thread here, now would he?

It was alright, but try to make the vids more visually interesting than a slideshow of stock images and screenshots. Talk more confidently, don't say "uh" as much. Also better mic quality but that's w/e.

Something tells me that Love Letter will be further developed than Yandere Simulator, but at this rate, you could make a stock Unreal 4 game or just do an Unity asset flip and you'd automatically be further in development for your game than YandereDev would be in a lifetime.

Man, that looks low budget, but good on them for changing it so they don't have anything to do with Alex.
Can't wait for him to sperg out about them STEALING his "OC" and using it to promote the name change or something.

Tbh the shitty quality makes sense if you consider they made as fast as possible so they can defend from whatever shit Alex wants to pull faster by changing the character.

That doesn't entirely justify the ugly ass designs but the voices are gud.
