I remember a few posters way before the riots saying Antifa basically ran it the way the Mob ran Chicago and I thought that was hyperbole but with how hard the city and state government are bending over for them that's starting to ring pretty true.

I wouldn’t say like the Mob, but more as an occupying army/insurgency- the local government has been coopted to an extent by them, and they are utilized by the Democrats in an attempt to destabilize Trump’s government.

That being said, the moment they start demanding local support (I.e. CHAZ) and ‘donations’, then they’ve truely turned into a mob.

Portland protests boiled over yesterday because the Feds started snatching people. Then when the crowd tried to storm a local police building the Portland police dropped the hammer worse than anything the feds did at the courthouse a few days ago.

So after all that bullshit from the Portland city council telling Trump to “get out”, it ended up being the local police who broke up the riot with arrests and nonlethal force? And now they have to salvage their position and somehow still denounce Trump for doing the exact thing that they were willing to do just a few days later.

I wasn’t expecting a side of irony for breakfast but it sure is tasty.
