It wasn't troon-specific, but this reminds me of a thread I saw on Reddit the other day, with hundreds of comments, claiming that it's "perfectly normal" for men to get hard-ons when their partners cry. Like, their girlfriend is upset and starts crying and he suddenly gets a boner for it. And they were trying to convince everyone that this is totally normal and something that happens to every man and no one should ever be judged for it at all. It was the most absolutely bizarre thing I have ever seen in my life.
I think the moral of the story is that men who get hard-ons for inappropriate things will do absolutely everything in their power to convince everyone that their inappropriate boners are completely normal and no one should be upset about them. It's so fucked up honestly.

This is late (sorry) but I'm in awe at this one. The way she externalizes this into somehow being treated unfairly by cis men is peak trans. Helping a confused young woman work through her anxieties about the social expectations behind motherhood, perhaps digging into her own childhood and how those anxieties developed through, say, watching her own mother completely subsume her identity into caring for her children and husband? Lol no, too much work, not enough woke points, patient might actually have a breakthrough and not need to pay $200 a week in perpetuity.
