There must've been a coordinated effort to focus on Portland this weekend, there's way more streamers on the ground than usual. I recognize half of these as regular Portland streamers, the other half either traveled or are new. Hearing some of them say they came up from Los Angeles.

These protesters just tear down that fence every night and fuck up the courthouse, right? And it's the Feds fault per the mayor because they just exist?

There's a good timeline of the moms at the fence in this thread. They went up to the fence, got their photo op, then stepped back while it was being torn down. Apparently some of them were still around during the gas.

"Gas spread out over several blocks. Was very difficult to escape. A couple ladies from the mom group gave me a baby wipe to help my eyes."

One of the "protesters" tonight was some one in a wheel chair with LED lights in the wheels and a service dog.

LOL some skateboader keeps on trying to grind the fence, he fell on his ass first time and has tried many times and failed, 5th time he fell on his ass again.
Took him 7 tries to even do something that resembled vague success.

They do this on purpose. Protesting is as much performance art as it is exceptional. They used to have big meetings where they taught people how to provoke others and stand in lines to be martyrs. It's an optics game to them and they expect to look helpless while the police show up in body armor. Maybe a sign of their desperation or their loss of energy is bringing out the pregnant ladies and the disabled.

It's to gain sympathy, but these protesters cry for mercy out one side of their mouth and spit in your face with the other.

Oh I know, There was a protest a few years ago for some disabled right group protesting a senator who voted to cut to some medical benefits (that were legit needed as my understanding) but the rights group paid to send in protesters who 1) not in the senator's jurisdiction 2) not actually disabled and would use their feet to fall out of the wheel chairs when police tried to move them because 3) they were blocking EMS from getting to a chest pain/heart attack call.

Back in the Civil Rights protest era they were smart enough to make sure their planned "events" (e.g. Rosa Parks) with people who were otherwise upstanding citizens.

The rioters are now now actually REEEEEEing over Taylor.
