I'd cut Minneapolis some slack this time, since it was the epicenter of this whole thing. And I expect Portland and Seattle's infestation to extend into its suburbs. When suburbs of cities in deep red states start doing this, like in KY and TX, that's when I get worried.

Of course the suburbs are the source of all the over-educated, under-qualified dangerhairs, and the ennui-stricken soyboys. But usually they have to cycle through a university town first, and wind up living somewhere else.

They have been staying in safe, nearby suburbs in the Minneapolis area thus far. If they start going out a county or two into the suburbs that lean red, there will be problems and they know it. You only have to go outside of Minneapolis about half an hour and everyone is armed to the teeth. The pushes to bring more subsidized housing to the burbs is what I’m keeping an eye on.

I've worked for a lot of companies and he reminds me of a CEO who is well-meaning but a bit out of his depth technically. What I suspect happens is that people in the company of someone like this, particularly (wannabe) management who are worried about their salaries and bonuses, will approach them and explain the technical issue. And at that point, the CEO will say 'Sounds like you've got a good handle on this! I'll put you in charge!'

Doing this completely undermines the case for having black DAs and the like.
