The Twitch DMCA Saga (Three Times Resilient!)

Not a perfect quote, but:

"A few people of Kiwifarms want me dead, Some want to troll me to get a reaction out of me, But theres alotapeeple that actually feel bad for me and dont want me to get hurt"
This mad lad finally understands us now.... :stress:

You know, I’ve been removed from the DSPverse for the last two months. Besides Phil being absolutely fucking boring since the Vest Streak garbage started, I just lost interest aside from checking the Farms once a day instead of multiple times a day. The outcome of the bankruptcy saga definitely deflated my optimism in regards to any story of poetic justice being administered to Phil but sometimes certain events happening in a vacuum within the context of the ‘tism vortex collide to create some really juicy material.

The current SH and DMCA strikes saga has definitely delivered amazing videos with the pig at his finest when he’s backed into a corner, frightened, alone, and panicky because of his realization that the amalgamation of consequences of being one of the most toxic assholes on the internet for well over a decade has finally caught up to him. It’s exactly in time like these where friends and relationships (both personal and professional) have to be leveraged to get out of a messy situation. Knowing that Phil has access to neither puts a giant smile on my face.

I had also stopped watching the occasional detractor videos for months but decided to fire up the latest Snort Burnell video. And when you’re far removed from Phil to only check up on him once in a while, you forget how disgusting of a toxic asshole he truly is. When this whole saga started, I even had an inkling or compassion for this dude. But the moment I watched this video of him insulting everyone and everything for his situation, the sliver of empathy I had for this guy instantly evaporated and now I’m just gleefully enjoying this ride of seeing the pig sweat about “muh livelihood.”

He honestly deserves everything bad happening to him. His smugness and overall awful behavior will always land him in trouble, no matter how hard he tries to shelter himself from the outside world. And this refusal to ever change or become a better person is what makes Phil one of the most consistent and pernicious lolcows on the interwebs.

"Shout out to the trolls who figured it out. At least, thank goodness you guys do something. O-of your, your, your research ability and time and do some good here, to realize that this is all bullshit to begin with."

Phil T-posing with this smug look on his face as he thanks his trolls makes me want to laugh uncontrollably.

You're welcome, Phil.

Bill's in the mail.

Personally my favorite part of all this is Phil clumsily dismantling his own lies and narratives as he lets his emotions run wild.
Yeah, turns out he knew what Discord was all along!
Yeah, he has a bald spot on the back of his head.
Yeah, he can just buy new technology and gear whenever he wants.
Yeah, streaming on YouTube isn't all that bad after all.
No one expects this to "kill Phil" but man if it hasn't been gold already.

Anyone trying to report him shouldn't waste their time. Assuming this FAQ isn't out of date, Phil's in the clear. The most relevant part is: " The exclusivity clause does not otherwise restrict Affiliates from using other streaming platforms to do live streaming. For instance, an Affiliate is permitted to start a stream on Twitch and, after ending that stream, immediately start a new, separate stream on another platform -- assuming the Affiliate is not also using Twitch to broadcast that same content at the same time."

I think some people are getting it confused with the rebroadcasting thing, which basically says you can't upload VOD's/clips/whatever else from your Twitch stream onto another platform for 24 hours.

This is just speculation on my part because I have no idea how Twitch handles this kind of stuff, but I'd recommend against trying to report Phil for anything else right now. If they know false reports are coming in from Superhound, they might just blanket wave any other reports made during the same time and assume it was part of the Superhound drama.

I could be wrong, but I think this only applies to Twitch affiliates.
Phil is a Twitch partner (with a checkmark by his name) and I'm pretty sure partners are restricted in terms of streaming on another platform.

He's going to reference this in three months and say he was never able to "catch up" after his bankruptcy because of the DMCA/DDoS stuff
Just like when he when back to see his sick and dying parents only to get married so he could own us. I bet he still thinks that week really put him in a bad spot financially.
