Update: This design, within the Discord, is being received less than perfectly. Apparently the bandages are triggering a bunch of kids due to the self-harm connotations. Other issues seems to vary by person, and they had to put an announcement to "clarify" that it isn't official ART, just an official DESIGN.

My main criticsm with Love Letter project is that they usually want to usually promote the project with " Hey I Make this game and handle this project better than the stupid Alex te-he." So usually people into this project not because the game but the Yandev drama. After thinking about, is not suprised that the fanbase and people on it are full of tryhard yandev hater( repeating the same yandev meme until your head exploded)

Honestly? I pictured Shortcake as a person who'd feel threatened by better artists, but it seems she's aware that a lot of people dislike her art and is trying to improve, at least on that aspect, so if people grew a spine and told her "dude this looks bad here's how you could improve it" instead of taking her designs and run with them I think the designs would at least be decent. It honestly feels like she has ideas but doesn't go over them again. That's almost the first thing they tell you in art-related careers: expect feedback and if you don't get it, ask for it.

Better artists try to subtly improve her designs (like seekndestroy fixes the mess that is bow's hair) but are they really Shortcake's designs if people change them? Like, she said Bow-bitch is chubby (despite stating earlier that it was just muh artstyle) but almost 90% of people making fanart for the game ignore that.

I really hope this gives her some experience. She can improve, and seeing how she's a complete disaster in every other aspect of her life, her art could become her redeeming quality. I'll take my rainbows.
