Almost as if fucking yourself over with retarded behaviour is different from advising someone else to fuck themselves over with retarded behaviour.
While the results could be hilarious, I can understand why they wouldn't want people advising the mentally ill to take street drugs.
Pretty much this. TCC was only allowed to operate because on its surface it claimed to be about harm reduction and thus every OP was principally about safety and proper procedures and dosage amounts and shit. Nobody actually paid any attention to that shit except to yell at other people who let slip that they shared a needle or whatever, but that was the illusion they maintained while sharing needles themselves and otherwise destroying their brains, bodies, and lives.

Phenazepam was particularly funny because it strangles your inhibitions so quickly, so thoroughly, and for so long that the goons playing with it didn’t even notice. They eyeballed doses for something whose dosage level is measured in micrograms, mixed it with various retarded shit in attempts to give it more of a kick, redosed repeatedly while still high, posted extensive reports about how much and how publicly they had made asses of themselves without any sign of self-awareness or shame (because they were still high and didn’t know it), and cheerfully ignored every concerned onlooker begging them to stop before they killed themselves and/or someone else.

So phenazepam is basically a drug that turns you into a goon. Imagine starting out already as a goon and boosting that up to 11 with this drug.

I think there was an old post in one of the Joose pastebins comparing phenazepam to the ocarina from Legend of Zelda, except instead of picking you up and flying you to the nearest castle, it teleported you 2 days into the future to a random hospital/jailcell
That happened, just not on SA and he was playing with some other godawful research chemical. Still hilarious though.

I know a lot of EVE Online players who are in the same boat as you. Goons used to be the opposite of PC and a lot of the people who hung out on SA just to fuck around and have fun are now the ones being actively driven from the site.
Honestly what is the difference between SA and ResetEra at this point, besides the paywall?

I got banned from SA on like day two back in 2004 because I called Fire an obnoxious faggot. I remember he was talking about taking some Bike Trip to Africa or something? It's kind of funny reading on here about how he turned out.

Fire is like the king goon in terms of what happened to him. Goes from having a nice little wife, job, even house and throws it all the way to troon out and then threaten a women's shelter for not letting him crash there. Its the most cautionary of goon tales of being extremely online.

He does all that, sees how fucked his life has become, and does he have a moment of clarity and decide to turn his life around?

No. He decides to have his testicles surgically removed because surely that will fix everything.

Phenazepam is a Soviet drug for schizophrenics. I’m always a little surprised at the shit they find to get high with.
They might prescribe it to schizophrenics but it's not specifically for schizophrenics in the way that, say, an antipsychotic or mood stabilizer would be. It's a benzodiazepine that's good for more or less the same things as any benzo, so basically Russian Xanax.

Most of the things that people find to get high are just structural analogs of things they already know will get them high. Sometimes it's an entirely new research chemical, other times it's just a foreign prescription drug that happens to not be approved/regulated in the U.S. It's not like they just gobble commie schizo meds trying to find one that feels good or something, haha.

Fun fact: the generic name of nearly every benzo ends with -am (usually -lam or -pam) so you can often tell something is a benzo even if you've never heard of it before. Alprazolam, diazepam, midazolam, phenazepam, etc.

One time I got banned for posting "that's flaming hot!" within the context of a highly marketable product. The mod's excuse was that I was apparently making a dig at faggots for using the word "flaming". It is to this day one of my favorite bans.

Cabbit once had a meltdown because a Warcraft NPC used the "a bundle of sticks is stronger than one" metaphor. This clearly meant Blizzard were low key talking about faggots.

I thought they’d be more concerned with the fascist imagery of that statement. Granted, fascism happens anyway when faggots are packed tightly enough together.
