It's funny that lolcow.farm originated from /cgl/, it was so marginal on 4chan. I wonder if /po/ the papercraft and origami board ever had any lolcows.

If that's the thread I'm thinking of, I feel like that's one of their more autistic threads. They want to nit pick at Korean celebs for over editing their photos despite that is what is culturally acceptable. Koreans expect you(and especially celebs) to edit photos.
 
I remember some user coming into the KF matrix chat and repeatedly asking for technical help because they were having issues accessing the website. From what I could tell the site was just women talking about drama.

Sooner or later you are going to need a .onion domain or some nonsense to even be allowed to have a decent site... If that isn't the case already. How is the scarydarkweb these days, anyway?

.....That sounds like a good way to end up in jail. Everything about that screams predator who is trying to lure teens with serious problems. Thats not something reddit should be wanting mods on their site being associated with seeing as how easily it could come back on reddit itself if the parents found out and decided to make a serious issue of it

That said this doesn't surprise me at all. That site was a cesspool. Its culture was its own doing. If the owner didn't want it to turn into what it did he shouldn't have pushed it in that direction

Most of the user base was tumblresque and it had become even worse in recent years but at the same time it's still sad to see it go. There were some entertaining threads on there that I liked to read such as ones about Kanadajin3 and Yumi King and her husband.

The mods/staff tried very hard to keep it a sensitive hugbox that didn't allow icky things like ~transphobia uwu~ whilst anyone who could read between the lines knew the sentiments of the users didn't align with that in one way or another.

I've never come across as many "honour their pronouns!!" and "don't accuse them of being fake trans!!" pearl clutchers as I did in the threads about women with their tits out claiming he/his pronouns. And that was the problem... because that's what the people going to those threads wanted to do.

They didn't want to read 20 pages of moral fagging about someone's mental health they wanted to make fun of lunatics and PULL simply never allowed that if it wasn't well veiled.

I would put money on that a decent chunk of users there already use KF under different usernames honestly.

Edit: This novel was written to say basically PULL is just a bunch of people who are not willing to go full KF yet.

Even some of the staff members and ex staff members were openly arguing with each other in certain threads. One of the newer moderators (a genderqueer polyamorous ex-sex worker) wanted to create a new version of PULL because she thought the site was managed badly, something which seems to have caused her to get demodded and made that ex-moderator with an angry cat avatar openly tell her in one thread to more or less go fuck herself

I'm 99% sure the site was shut down because a large chunk of the userbase became blackpilled into terfdom. I would be delighted to have them, personally.

With all the underage redditors that have flocked to this site recently due to the yandev hacking, it will probably improve do the community some good.

A few people have already said this but I'm sure quite a portion of members (including myself) are going to migrate into here from PULL. Although they'd probably have to lurk for a while more and keep quiet unless they want autism reacts on their posts. PULL was mostly full of catty girls so it's a bit of an adjustment coming onto here.

based on what I've seen in their new discord, I don't think a lot of them favor the site. They're a bit fragile when it comes to the language allowed here:
