I actually agree with her. Chicago terrorizes its residents just fine on its own, considering it can't go more than an hour or two without someone being shot to death. She really doesn't need Trump's help on this one. It's interesting to watch all of these different cities and politicians stand right behind Antifa and pat them on the back and encourage them to keep attacking Federal buildings, though. If the two political factions can't even agree on what constitutes as a violent riot or a peaceful protest, what the fuck is going to happen when we have an election in three months?

For the federal background check? If so, those must be people with common names. I have walked out same day with both of my recent purchases. The salesmen have also said that putting your SSN on the form tends to help get it approved quicker.

No. Look at Canada. We have a "multi party system" but you end up with two main parties and a bunch of small ones that just split votes. The two party system is better. At least you don't end up with federal leaders elected with 30% of the vote.

We all know the cops did nothing wrong. Anyone who says the cops killed him isn't paying attention, or they're lying. Floyd was freaking out and injured himself in the car. He asked if he could lay down, so they brought him to the ground, used the minimum amount of pressure necessary to hold him in place, and called an ambulance. As long as he was conscious they talked to him and tried to comfort him. Chauvin's worst offense was being, let's say "businesslike" in a tense situation.

The media is responsible for a lot of this. Floyd was babbling, complaining about all kinds of things--he was claustrophobic, he wanted to sit in the front seat, he had been shot before, his wrist hurt, he wanted to lay down, he couldn't breathe, his wrist hurt, his neck, his knee, his stomach, he had COVID--but the media laser-focuses on "I can't breathe" as if he were rendering a professional medical opinion. And they keep saying Chauvin "knelt" on Floyd's neck, as if Chauvin was using Floyd to support his weight. I don't know how much pressure Chauvin used, but it wasn't enough to obstruct his airway or cause any injuries, and given Floyd's semi-coherent babblings, he wasn't blood choked, at least not at first. All Cops Are Innocent.
