I don't recall this being posted before. Not very interesting but, y'know, for the sake of following the thing.

My guess is going to be that students are going to be able to join other clubs if the one that they are currently in gets shutdown or something. Pretty sure that is Saki Miyu in the Science Club, who is normally in the Cooking Club.

If I'm right, then Alex is very obviously stalling for time again. That really wouldn't need to be a feature that would be implemented, especially when he is very close to missing his deadline for Osana yet again.

My guess: Its a metaphor.

"You experiment with things, adding new stuff and expect some grand outcome like an explosion. But nothing happens. Thats how I felt after adding SNAP-Mode. Nobody seemed to really care after the initial release. I'm still waiting for Marketplier to make a new video about it. This serverly reduced my motivation to work on the game."

what baffles me the most about this whole game is the fact that it had everything going for it in the beginning, and just hear me out:

it had a seemingly interesting (not to me but the weebs tho) enough concept to be executed, nearly every big youtuber that does let's play like markiplier , pewdiepie, jacksepecticeye, etc. has played it either once or multiple times, the patreon for the game is successful (how people haven't noped out of that I have no idea), it gets regular fanart from decent artists, its gotten so much attention, how in the fuck did everything go so wrong? of course, the obvious answer is the developer himself, but its seriously incredible how one man can create and then just mess it up and drag its corpse for years and years on end. hell I didn't even know this game was still going until the suicide baiting logs came out. When I first heard of it I went outloud "wasn't it that one japanese, murder game from years ago?" lo and behold it was. I've missed out on a lot of hilarious content that I have no idea how it escaped my radar, GG on 2000 pages you crazy bastards.

if you compare this game to something like Five night's at freddys that both had similar kind of beginnings, one dude just wanted to make a game and it got popular by youtubers, its astounding. yes yes, FNAF is a cancer we really won't get rid of anytime soon, but you got to admit Scott Cawthon is a hard working guy and loves cranking out those games all the time just because his fans want it, and really? good on him, dude is swimming in cash now and probably could be to last several lifetimes, his wife/kids are lucky bastards.

but then you just look over at......whatever the hell all this is, its like watching the virgin game developer vs the chad one lmao
I tip my hat to Scott. FNAF, for better or for worse, has started, survived and somehow grown to the size of getting Funkos and characters spoiled.

Alex just seems like he should be writing a four part book series.
Start it with Love Sick: Freshman Blood.

What is Alex even going to do with the subreddit now anyways? His community already migrated to another one and for it to be functional again, he will have to clear hundreds of shitposts. That is not past him as he is the guy that banned thousands of users from the subreddit and can perfectly picture him banning and deleting posts for hours and hours, but it is still a lot to of work to do.

I think the point is to silence the criticism towards him (+the memes)

"As you may know, the official Yandere Simulator sub-reddit has been hacked. As such, I have been in the obligation of manually clearing up every single post that deviates from the original purpose of the sub. Due to that, the release date of Osana had to be delayed 2 months"

If anything now he has another fucking excuse to not work in the game (again)

he may as well would have said "I recovered my subreddit and i have to purge everything because it's more important than Osana." and it likely would have the same result, just with more honnesty.

EDIT: So i decided to check in on the subbreddit, and people are losing thier mind.

while scott is motivated because his other games were failures before FNAF Alex is just this weeb at best who just wanted to make a game that he was not planning to get THIS big

Not really. I mean, agreed on the Scott part but the only reason that Alex is making this dumpster fire it was to show MikeZ he could make a good game, and then Alex procced to confirm MikeZ statement on how he is an incompetent programmer/game designer by getting stuck in the pre-pre production of his magnus opus :story:

Alex is a code monkey LARPing as a software engineer.

This is Saki Miyu with her brand new haircut, which was added in the last build... well, not exactly new. It's the one she had in the very first builds of the game.

sakimiyu1.jpg

Alex changed it for a twisted tails haircut in order to not make it obvious she was just a pale copy of Hatsune Miku. I guess he doesn't care anymore about that.

I wonder why he is putting so much emphasis on her, especially when he is not supposed so be working on Kokona anymore.

We’ve finally reached the year that this thread was created.

In a way, I hope Yandere Simulator actually gets released. Watching Alex attempt to run a team of paid employees should be glorious. I actually think that there’s a good chance that the Kickstarter will succeed, since he does have an audience of over 2.7 million people. Even if only a small percentage of people gave him money, he’d still be able to raise 100-120k. Furthermore, Osana is simply a small taste of his overall game design. This thread is bound to double in size if the game actually gets released.

Is it possible to immediately thread ban users who are less than a week old or anything?
The fuck is this shit. I'd rather see Alex, fattycake or the other Loveletter mod tards post here.

edit: Also, speaking of them. It looks like they abolished any form of real trial moderation.
Users are being promoted to full power within the day, plus the two 14yrold mods remain. Already broke their own policy.

We're not reaching the critical mass of spergatory yet to do auto thread bans, at least I think.

It's starting to get converted back as well, the icon and banner are still the same but the links and the sub bio has been changed back to the original.
The purge of just about everything on the subreddit has begun (posts/comments); I thought it would go very slowly so they could rebuild the massive ban list by seeing who has posted in the last three weeks, but it looks like they've opted to go for the much saner route of purging everything and rebanning anyone who comes back to make a nuisance of themselves.
