Medical personnel are as busy if not busier than during the COVID-19 wave of infections. They are playing catch up trying to take care of all the surgeries and appointments they had to put off and that includes cancer patients. If Chantal is responsible enough to have a family doctor, it’s entirely possible she was able to talk to her doctor so quickly. It’s all done by phone now and if she called to make an appointment and stated her issue, she’d get prioritized.
