I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm really not sure why they're bothering; even before the lockdown on new joins it's already a weeklong delay between joining and being able to post. The number of people posting chalice memes has drastically reduced compared to two weeks ago. Most people getting banned now are getting banned for criticism, not memes.

Bullshit. I was testing the game on my computer today to see just how much the shadows would rape my computer, and it fell a full 50 fps. Later I walked around and it randomly decided to drop and stay at 15 FPS, forever. This is with a Threadripper and a 2080 TI.

All talk no show. If he wanted people to believe him, yandev would post gameplay with an FPS counter in the corner.

I was about to post something like that, but I initially didn't know how I was gonna word my post. Anyways, Alex always utilizes this poor technique in order to boast about his "skills" in programming, storytelling, etc.

Clearly this technique doesn't work.

The problem with doing so is that people would pick over his gameplay and draw attention to the missing members of the student body or whatever else Alex removed from the game to keep his stable framerate. Then said people would record their own footage demonstrating the game's subpar performance.

I'm not sure if even Alex expects his followers to believe that particular claim at this point. There's usually several people complaining about game performance in the Discord, and they often aren't gremlins.

Edit: Also, the new restrictions on the Discord server seem to be bringing all of the memers out of the woodwork so they can get banned faster.

That reminds me of that one post from the now-abandoned temporary YanSim subreddit I shared here about two weeks ago. Dude got fucking banned just because he was legitimately wondering why GTA Online runs better and faster than YanSim does... :(
