PORTLAND, Ore.—U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams announced today that 18 people have been arrested and are facing federal charges this week for their roles in recent weeknight protests at the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse in Portland.

According to court documents, since May 26, 2020, protests in downtown Portland have been followed by nightly criminal activity including assaults on law enforcement officers, destruction of property, looting, arson, and vandalism. The Hatfield Federal Courthouse has been a nightly target of vandalism during evening protests and riots, sustaining extensive damage.

U.S. Marshals Service deputies and officers from the Federal Protective Service, Homeland Security Investigations, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection working to protect the courthouse have been subjected to nightly threats and assaults from demonstrators while performing their duties.

Five people have been charged for alleged criminal conduct during a protest beginning July 20, 2020 and continuing into the early morning hours of July 21, 2020. Jennifer Kristiansen, 37, is charged with assaulting a federal officer; Zachary Duffly, 45, is charged with creating a disturbance; Wyatt Ash-Milby, 18, is charged with trespassing on federal property; and Caleb Ehlers, 23, and Paul Furst, 22, are charged with failing to comply with a lawful order.

These cases are being jointly investigated the U.S. Marshals Service and Federal Protective Service. They are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon.

Criminal complaints and informations are only accusations of a crime, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

My favorite part of this is Mason Lake blaming the feds. :story:

"Someone doesn't want ME here! Must be the feds because no other explanation exists in Portland! Warrrrr criiiiiimeeess!"

What an unimaginably cucked individual.

Laser-proof glasses and goggles are cheap. I don’t know why it isn’t standard issue with the Feds. This blinding shit shouldn’t even be an issue.
Nah, you can't just buy cheap stuff.
First you have to have a two year long test phase with numerous international manufacturers, after that a two year long field test follows and the prototype models get changed in design about 456 times, which takes another five years and then they decide they want the glasses and googles from manufacturere "A" price 12.500 USD per piece. Googles ofc will be manufactured in China and sold on Alibaba to civilians for 12.50 USD.

I doubt any of the defendants will come back to the federal courts without being dragged in by Feds.

Only the Alibaba 12.50 set and the 1.50 Wish set will most likely be fake and provide little to no protection hell it may even cause greater harm.

Wonder if the stupid prick with the hammer is included in this roster. If he's the 19 year old, he might be in prison until he's in his fuckin' thirties. Have fun with that. Probably never used a hammer for its intended purpose either, just got one to try and bludgeon federal law enforcement.

Also Trump did an interview today with the guys form Barstool.

Looks like it's this dink. Texas man charged with hammer attack
Jacob Michael Gaines, 23, a Texas man currently residing in a recreational vehicle in Portland
Of course he is.

What is it with the left and shitty facial hair? Either work with what you have or shave that shit off.

Anyway, he'll probably be in his mid thirties when he gets out, if convicted. He'll most likely meet some upstanding, polite gentlemen of African origin in federal prison too. Wouldn't doubt if he flips the script and starts hanging out with the AB so he doesn't lose his last ten teeth in an incident of cultural enrichment. In there they don't call it reparations, they call it "GANKED".

I'd imagine many of the real laser proof goggles and glasses have a hell of a tint, which... has anyone else been forced to do night range quals with tinted goggles because supply fucks everything up? Can't see shit with tinted goggles in anything nearing a night time lighting. I'd wager that if they did put up a bunch of flood lights so the feds could see at night with those goggles, the lights would be broken fairly quickly because antifa would catch on.

Also I wonder if they make laser proof inserts for the promasks.

Portland officials send federal government cease-and-desist letter calling for removal of courthouse fencing

Portland authorities are calling on the government to remove fencing around a federal courthouse amid ongoing protests or face legal action, according to a recently published official letter.

The “illegally” installed concrete and metal barriers “are both unpermitted and represent a hazard to the traveling public,” said a letter sent with a cease-and-desist order to a federal official Thursday. Among other things, they block a bike lane, according to the document, published online by Willamette Week.

“Unidentified agents of the federal government have placed unpermitted fencing and jersey barriers in the city’s right-of-way outside of the Hatfield Federal Courthouse,” the letter states. “The fencing and barriers in the right-of-way create a hazard for Portlanders by blocking the bike lane on SW Main, which is the premiere bike facility into downtown Portland.”

Failure to remove the fencing would violate city code and administrative rules, “and will be subject to fines and potential legal action,” said the letter.

A spokesperson for the U.S. General Services Administration, which received the letter from Portland's transportation head and its chief deputy city attorney, did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request seeking comment.

The fencing was erected Wednesday to protect the courthouse in downtown Portland, according to Willamette Week. But it has since become a focus of protesters' attention after nearly two months of demonstrations, which at times have devolved into riots.

Since its installment, demonstrators have attempted to tear it down, throwing fireworks over the perimeter. In at least one instance, they lit a large fire between the barrier and the courthouse, according to social media and reports.
