Does she ever even do anything "male" though? All her interests and behaviors are "feminine". The only arguably "masculine" thoughts we see her have are her violent fantasies.

And even those sound performative. The edgy spergings of a wannabe hybristophiliac who never outgrew the “everything gross is fascinating and I want to talk about the weirdest most OTT ways to die” - type developmental stage

Again with the green witch shit...
I can see relating to plants more than you do to certain people, but I don't see making my whole fucking world- much less something unrelated like gender-revolve around them.

Does she even keep plants she can't eat or doesn't use in spells like catnip or flowers that do fuck all but look pretty and just benefit pollinators that don't produce honey? Venus fly traps? Bonsai evergreens?
She's like a monkey miming what she sees but doesn't understand the principle; Gardening/plantkeeping doesnt always benefit the keeper directly and she doesn't have the patience or dedication for it. Even the nutty greenwitch broads got this principle down pat.

Why can't she just like something without deciding it defines her gender? She has started foraging for wild vegetables, and now her gender is plant? WTF? I have been binging Trailer Park Boys, am I Rickygender? (Arguably cooler than plant gender but not even worth having the discussion about).

Also, God (or Satan or Lilith or whatever demon waifu Staph saw in anime) help any young person questioning their gender identity who gets involved with Staph. She will fuck them up with all these 1000s of genders bullshit.

I honestly cannot understand her gender bullshit. Gender is pretty tied into sex characteristics, i.e. male = penis, female = vagina, and that is why transgender are people who identify as the opposite. NBs I side eye hard, but whatever, you don't think you're either? Ok I can get that. But you identify as a fucking plant? Or as a demon? That's kin shit, not gender. She has the worst understanding of gender of anyone I have seen, and she screams the loudest about it.

Stapphy, identify how you want. Who cares. But stop acting like you being fucking plant gender who fucks ghosts on the reg makes you as vulnerable as anyone who is legit LGBT. You change your gender so often, don't even tell me you were 'born that way'. It reminds me of the Brony who came out to his family and friends and claimed he was more persecuted than gay people. There's a big difference between being gay/trans and wanting to fuck ghosts/animated horses

Personally I just want to know what weirdos like Staphh think gender actually IS, aside from 'not like the other girls dont call me ma'am'. Like all their definitions for their wierd tumblrgender stuff all describe it as like music or plants or 3/4 purple and 1/4 sunshine and shit, but like... what the hell is the concept of gender that they're attaching all these adjectives supposed to be? It's like when you write a word too many times and it stops looking like a real word, I dont even know what gender is supposed to mean anymore.

Girl= comfortable having vagina, uncomfortable having penis
Boy= comfortable having penis, uncomfortable having vagina
Nb= sounds fake and also gay but whatever, just don't make me listen to a lecture about it and idgaf

I feel like everything else is just gender roles. And if your 'gender' is 'uncomfortable when not being a plant's maybe you have some issues that need resolving before you worry about having a hyper specific label for this shit.

I don't get the constant need to apply labels to herself either. Just like...be a person, Staph. It's ok to just be a regular person. It's cool to be a chick who loves true crime and the supernatural and even is a bit weird. How empty is she inside that she constantly has to be redefining herself. It's like a child. "I'm a princess...NO I'm a superhero! NO! I'm a fireman!" Grow up.

My theory is that she thinks that members of oppressed groups cannot be questioned because to insinuate that this individual group member may be wrong would be further oppression. You know, “The Brown,” trans people, disabled people, abuse survivors, etc. Staph tries to weasel (appropriate) her way into as many oppressed groups as possible, not just for asspats, but because she thinks that as part of an oppressed group she is above criticism. In her mind anyone who would disagree with, doubt, or call out a chronically ill, PTSD suffering, gay, trans, mentally ill, SUICIDE SURVIVOR is obviously a fascist bootlicker who wants her dead.
Remember when she was threatening suicide by cop because she thought if she became a victim of police brutality no one could be mad at her about the MW debacle? She literally thinks if she were killed by a cop she would be a martyr.

The thing that gets me about people like Staph, Anna Johnson, most troons, munchies & bullshitters, etc, is that they want SO, SO BADLY for there to be something different about them and wrong with them. And...there is! There truly is. Congratulations: you’re mentally ill, socially maladjusted assholes. But not in any of the cool interesting genderspecial loner ways they fantasize about, of course

Personally I just want to know what weirdos like Staphh think gender actually IS, aside from 'not like the other girls dont call me ma'am'.

The inherent problem with these people — every single one of them that has a gender identity — is that they honestly believe gender is equivalent to personality and stereotypes. You can ask them to define "gender", and it will always circle back to "gender is whatever the person identifies with!" and how feminine/masculine they are in terms of behavior and interests when compared to the majority. They will unironically state that they believe women are all shallow, make-up obsessed cocksuckers who live to serve men (this is particularly popular with sissy fetishists and queer theory troons of both sexes) if it suits their narrative at the moment. This isn't just some crackpot belief either, it stems back to the beliefs of the "fathers" of transgenderism: Harry Benjamin, Robert Stoller, and John Money being the most notable. They all equated gender to sex role stereotypes, but the gender shit we see now is that combined with an extremely individualistic culture where every unique identity is special and valid. Staph is no exception.

TL;DR for the following: Benjamin was a snake oil salesman who believed in feminized testicles of the brain, womanly maternal hormones transing male fetuses in utero, and that being ugly as a baby can make you transsexual; Stoller encouraged little boys to rape and abuse little girls and believed that to be the epitome of "male gender identity", while also stating that maternal fashion choice can make you transsexual; and Money straight up abused children in the name of "transgender science", claimed transphobia when criticized, and was also probably a pedophile.

Harry Benjamin is probably most well-known as the guy whose name was in WPATH (the World Professional Association for Transgender Health) before they renamed it; it used to be the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association (HBIGDA). He was therefore the most influential of the trio apparently, despite previously promoting an anti-aging "fountain of youth" serum and an ineffective cure for tuberculosis, both using... turtle fluids (see image at the bottom)? Yeah, I have no idea. That sounds like something Staph would claim to be using in one of her hokey ass spells. Anyway, on top of being a snake oil salesmen, he alongside co-author Charles Ihlenfeld posited in Transsexualism (1973) that the "normal" male "feels himself" to be a man (giving rise to nebulous "gender feelings" that we see so often), is heterosexual, and would be horrified at the thought of cross-dressing. The "normal" female "feels, looks, acts, and functions as a woman", is heterosexual, does NOT want to be anything but subservient to her husband, and dresses and makes herself up to be attractive to men. This is the foundation of the "gender binary" that queer theory troons loves to harp on about, and current gender dysphoria guidelines decree that anyone distressed by this exceedingly narrow view of male/female and man/woman is to be pathologized and treated through therapy, drugs, and/or surgery, rather than other measures.

If this was all that they hypothesized, it would be pretty standard sexism and homophobia (gender non-conformity and homosexuality tend to go hand-in-hand in childhood development) for the 1970s. However, what really gets me is their theory of what turns a fetus transsexual: the womanly hormones of the mother's body interfering with gender development in the womb. Seriously. They honestly believed maternal estrogen could "repress" the maleness of the fetus (but only sometimes) and make it "too feminine" or underdeveloped in its structure or chemistry, producing a transsexual child. Benjamin and Ihlenfeld then went on to say something about the feminization of the testicles, calling it an "incomplete expression" of "testicular feminization syndrome" with the defect... only affecting the brain, leaving the actual testicles unscathed. As if phantom feminized testicles in the brain wasn't enough to turn a child transsexual, they also believed that mothers who "may not be able to handle aggressive and active play" and directed their boy children towards quieter activities and companions (namely girls) would cause them to troon out, because feminine behaviors were rewarded by their mother and other members of their family.

Their "research" rarely focused on hypothetical girl children because I suppose the hypothetical boy children were more important, but when it did, it once again does nothing but blame the mother for why her child is transsexual: from being emotionally unavailable or too depressed to parent her child, to somehow raising her child to be a surrogate husband because the father is a deadbeat, to teaching her child that being assertive and independent is a good thing, it all inevitably falls on the mother and nobody else. They also claimed that parents of transsexual female children believed their baby girls were "somehow less attractive, less cuddly, and more aggressive than her sisters’", because being ugly as a baby was enough to get you diagnosed with troonacy.

That explains why so many female troons are so ugly, I guess. Turtle fluids:

Edit: fleshed out a sentence.
Stoller defined gender as “the amount of femininity and masculinity a person exhibited” in Sex and Gender: The Development of Masculinity and Femininity (1968 ), when "transgender science" was first making its way into academia. He later described his "ideal" therapeutic route for young gender non-conforming boys to develop a "male gender identity" in Sex and Gender Volume II: The Transsexual Experiment (1968 ), which more or less involved encouraging aggression and violence towards women and girls, finding pleasure in abusing women and girls, rape and torture fantasies aimed at women and girls, and identifying with abusive men in media.

He also believed that women who were not conventionally beautiful would produce transsexual children; that "bisexual" women (women who wore suits, or skirts and blouses) would confuse children, disturb their natural childhood development, and produce transsexual children; and whatever this Freudian shit means: "'Primary Femininity,” [or] the initial orientation of both biological tissue and psychological identification toward feminine development. This early, non-conflictual phase contributes to a feminine core gender identity in both boys and girls unless a masculine force is present to interrupt the symbiotic relationship with the mother.'"

If any of you can make sense of that last bit, good job. Stoller loved Freud and his ability to make everything the fault of the mother.

Man, I love the amount of strange and oddly specific knowledge that people on this forum have, and also I'm now INTENSELY regretful that 'feminization of the testicles' is probably too long for a username.

I'm now wondering if there was ever a converging point where Steph ran into Vade, who when we first discovered her, was an otherkin plant god/fennec fox who had a similarly cryptic gender, and was also a potato with a bowl cut. Probably still is.

Staph has no identity outside of her gender, anarchy and whatever else she's into this week. She's still in that phase that lots of teens go through (goth, emo, punk, whatever), but eventually, you grow out of it. Or at least, you develop an identity beyond that one label. You may still like My Chemical Romance, but you can also like other things and you have, you know...a life. A job. Friends. Family. Maybe a partner. Maybe you like MCR, but you also now enjoy fly fishing.

You ask me what I am & without powerleveling too much, I can say I'm an artist, an educator, a daughter, a sister, an advocate. I think most people would respond with answers like that, regardless of their sexual identity or orientation, because most mature, adult people are so much more than that. There is so much more to life and who we are as people than who we are attracted to and who or what we want to fuck. Some people may choose to say they are gay or lesbian or bi or trans, but that's not a problem because it's a huge part of their life, with coming out, accepting themselves, etc...that I can get, if you want to identify as one of those, but I'm sure for many people, that isn't solely how they identify themselves or what comes to mind when people ask them to 'tell me something about yourself.'

Because Staph is emotionally stunted. She hasn't done any of the that emotional or mental growth that people do in their late teens through late twenties, when you find out who you are.

Look I know the yellow shirt says sunkissed but the fact the S isn't visible in the photo and it reads as "unkissed" has to be some sort of message from the universe. Her deities communing with her if you will

God bless I was about to make this same post nearly word for word. She may be posting about poor Josie but the universe knows what's up.

Speaking of, wonder what it'll take to drive poor Josie off this time. Will Stapphy post her completely private details all over the internet? Will Stapph spend the night and Josie is terrified by the haunting strains of the peepeepoopoo song drifting through a dark apartment? Will she just realize that Stapph is a total trainwreck of a person, since it took what, less than a month to reach 'please dont talk to me' status last time? Will Stapph give her a big ol' homegrown cucumber, if you know what I mean? Possibilities abound.
