U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

If the author compares Jesus, who was without sin, to George Floyd, who pointed a firearm at a pregnant woman belly, then we must conclude that what Floyd did was not a sin.

So if someone went to the magazines office and pointed a gun at the authors assistant or perhaps the author himself, I suppose that would not be a sin and not be mentioned to the police?

Heck, why not have the staff kneel at gun point while being blindfolded, gagged, and restrained. Then the mock executions can begin with blanks.

Just shoot the gun with blanks as you are walking out the door.
America Magazine would somehow blame it on the NRA. Muh gun lobby and all that.

It really is sad. The Jesuits used to be known as "God's Marines" because they were once effective evangelists. Protestant powers feared them. Now? They're subverted, demoralized cucks at best and heretic traitors at worst.

Vatican II was an okay idea that was hijacked by Modernists.

Why the fuck is his mask off? Isn't he concerned about spreading Coronavirus?!

I'm sure someone will say this seriously while not being concerned about anything else these insurgents are up to.

I used to fantasize about Christians just leaving me the fuck alone, not making up lies about games I liked to play, music I liked to listen to, not treating me like Satan because of what I did or didn't believe.

Then I got my wish. Unfortunately I made it on a monkey's paw.

Taking away the voting rights of felons is a consequence for poor behaviour. What happens when we remove consequences? Well, look at the cretins burning shit to the ground. Those "people" were raised with no consequences, no repercussions for shitty behavior. Too often, "parenting" these days involves ignoring shitty behavior and rewarding semi-decent behavior.

Consequences for being a little shit are desperately needed. Now, more than eve,r because what we are seeing is a generation of mewling, spoiled brats who have never faced consequences for shitty behaviour beyond losing console time and a "I'm not angry, I'm just let down" talk from a parent.
I still recall my Business Law professor stating that the law was predicated on discouraging or punishing behavior deemed unacceptable. The Democrats seem hellbent on upending that concept with open borders, free healthcare for illegal aliens, sanctuary cities, etc. Instead of consequences, they want people around them see how lawbreakers are simply misunderstood or underprivileged (via "restorative justice") when the truth is many know what they're doing and simply DGAF because they know there will be neither consequences nor negative fallout.

At what point will the public at large realize that the people pulling the strings have no consistency at all and this is all a sick joke?
With regards to COVID, even some doomers are starting to see the light and realizing how politicized everything is becoming thanks to the lack of consistency. In my state, for example, the governor has ordered people to wear masks under penalty of a misdemeanor record and a $500 fine. Shortly thereafter, she declares polling places exempt out of concerns that telling maskless people they can't vote in person may be a constitutional issue even though her party worked to successfully amend the state constitution to allow no reason absentee voting which would solve the issue 🤷‍♂️. This is what makes normies question why they should even bother obeying COVID-19 restrictions, no matter how reasonable and appropriate they might be, if they aren't being imposed or enforced uniformly.

Going way back in time here, but a huge thank you to whomever suggested reading Booker T Washington's Up from Slavery. This is one of the most based things I have read bar none and I have no idea why this is not required reading in American schools.
Because it's too based for its own good. Any African-American advocating for education as a way to better their people is now deemed problematic or deserving of being cancelled.

Even the two fucking thieves crucified with Jesus weren't as degenerate as Floyd.
And one of the thieves even admitted the death sentence was justified in their case. Taking responsibility for his behavior is infinitely more based than anything the current protestors and white knights have done.

And yay for the judge who BTFO'd Oregon's request for a TRO. :drink:

The state had no legal basis for claiming any right to sue, i.e. standing. The state itself wasn't harmed. Moreover, and this is even more important, they weren't seeking damages for what was done to actual people. They were trying to force the federal government to be ordered not to do something in the future to unspecified future people. How would the court even manage that if it did issue an order? If the people actually arrested supposedly without probable cause have a problem, it's not like there is any shortage of NLG lawyers or ACLU lawyers or other people who will jump at the chance to take a case.

The fact is those people were arrested with probable cause after committing crimes, serious crimes in many cases, not "peaceful protests."

Minneapolis began the defunding process today.

First, they walked back from using $500k for armed neighborhood patrols.

Instead, they will shift $1.5 million to other areas, including the Office of Violence Prevention to implement a “Cure Violence” program, funding a program to help pozzed people, funding a program to promote “healthy living“ in low income housing, and funding a youth program. The city council also recommended moving employees from the police department’s records unit into other city departments for some unknown reason. Maybe nobody needs access to police records if the police are jogger militias and Antifa goons.

In other words, they had no clue how to solve things, they just voted for destruction and were surprised that wasn't the end of the movie. Everyone forgets that when the hero rides off into the sunset, he leaves behind the townspeople who have to deal with the aftermath of the battle... and these morons are the remnants, never the heroes.

"Long term systemic solutions" are great and all, but there's still a short term before you can get to the long term. And if you kneecap your fix for the short term, you never get to see the investment in the long term bear fruit, because everything goes downhill first.

These idiots are bad at life. I wouldn't trust them to manage a 7-11, much less a city. Hot dog rollers and Slushee machines would mystify them.

You made this wish around the timeframe of 2012-2014, didn't you?

Turns out all that shit was just things to keep you distracted while subversives behind the scenes systematically infiltrated and took over western society.

Why the fuck is his mask off? Isn't he concerned about spreading Coronavirus?!
Narcissism battling it out with maximization of victimhood potential.

Way, way earlier. Fundies were barely a thing from 2008 on. And then something had to come in and fill the vacuum because apparently we always need some kind of army of despicable toads screeching virtue at people while having none themselves.

Solve things? This is about either forcing Trump out, or making him un-electable. They are willing to shoot you in the face in the hopes it provokes a hard response from the feds to turn the narrative. They obviously don't care about "fixing things", they never did. Otherwise Black neighbourhoods wouldn't be in the state they are in after 50 years.

What the actual fuck is Local58 and why havent I heard of it before? That was some cool shit.
It's not real, but it's a horror series on Youtube using a style called "analog horror" that tells a story in the form of shitty public local TV broadcasts (and their interruptions.)

It's some pants-shitting stuff.

All these people demanding the the Federal Government surrender the Portland court house are high off their rockers. If the choice is surrendering territory controlled by the United States in exchange for peace, or violence where people will be hurt or killed, then the choice has to be Violence. Every single time.

Minneapolis can surrender its property to an attacking horde of barbarians, but the United States cannot. It just cant. The Feds, love them or hate them, are the sovereign, and the sovereign has the monopoly on violence. If the Portland Court House is surrendered to a ravening mob then the Sovereign loses its legitimacy.

And let's be brutally honest. The rioters and the people pushing the riot know this full well. It's why they are doing it. They are trying to force the Feds into a no win choice. They either surrender their authority, or they exercise it and get slagged. Either way in the minds of the people doing this, they win.

If ONLY there was an example we could point to, historically speaking, that might show us where this line of reasoning leads.
