Lizzo only lost weight because she was getting exasperated over the fact that she throwing a fit over people rightfully mocking her weight gain for being a personality trait.

She even had the nerve to say then "I felt chubby next to them". She does this shit in purpose so she can then lament her ugliness and make us pretend she's just EXACTLY like those other girls.

She's wearing yoga pants and a black t-shirt. This is entirely on purpose for "sympathy". She was thin enough here, she could have at least shown a little modest skin if she wanted to fit in. Tights, a decent fitting dress, bootlets with a small heel, even a blazer if she wanted to be alt psuedo gay. She was hoping to disappear next to them because she knew she couldn't compete, but it didn't work.

Not fashionable to have Covid in March. Definitely would have hurt her invites from LA peeps for month had she publicly admitted it.

Tom Hanks and his wife were basically the only famous adults with the courage to announce they had it early on as a way to encourage other to quarantine and listen to doctors orders.

Lena decides to announce it months later when it doesn’t matter. I’m not going to read her BS but I wouldn’t be surprised if she managed to get a test in March when tests were ridiculously scarce and it was almost a status symbol to get one.

The celebrities who suddenly announce they were sick months ago and want a breathless piece written on their “struggle” are just attention whores trying to use Covid-19 for some free coverage. (see Madonna)

Granted, there is a little bit of stigma against getting WuFlu now. There are so many stories are fetishized and pushed by the media vampire sucking off the fear porn of spring breakers getting the virus en masse and getting sick, or people having parties and everyone getting sick, or businesses getting 2 or 3 people sick and declaring it a public health emergency (but of course, massive protests don't cause Covid because #blacklivesmatter and the virus isn't wacist,) even sucking off on a middle aged man getting it from going to Home Depot *one time* and "giving in" and now being on a ventilator. There's a subset of the population that loves hearing when someone who's an "anti-masker" gets sick because they're a) conservative and b) it feeds into their doom porn.

People act like the virus is the devil punishing people for not blessing their hands with the holy water of hand sanitizer and committing the ultimate sin by not wearing a useless cloth mask inside where tiny particles can bypass it anyway. For what it's worth, I'm not a flubro, but there's a giant contingency of people who love that republicans are getting sick and "proving their point." But by Lena saying it was March, she's not taking "responsibility" because it was before people knew it would escape disease ridden China. It's not even a virtue signal, it's just another cry for attention, as always.

The thing I find annoying and just plain gross, about her, is that she is constantly flaunting her less than stellar body. I mean being overweight is one thing, but add the stretched out prison tattoos and trying hard to fit into tiny bathing suits that are too small for her and flashing her bulbous body parts in unattractive ways, is what turns my stomach. I mean would it kill her to pose with some pride? I mean straighten the back, pull the shoulders back, be more subtle and get those prison tats lasered off. She tries hard to look more like "People of Walmart" than the artist that she thinks she is.

She's a narcissist who thinks she is appealing and worthy of adulation even, or especially, when she's at her most grotesque. She's also wildly insecure and in need of constant validation. Flaunting her gross body and ugly tattoos is the easiest way for her to get what she craves while simultaneously pumping up her own ego and allowing her to revel in a victim complex.

She's fucked up on many levels and believes that her repulsiveness is not a bug but a feature. In a way, she's right: Would anyone give her a crumb of attention if she were just a mousy, average, forgettable, nearly middle-aged woman? And since she can't transform herself into a swan--even if she weighed 100 pounds, she would never be truly pretty or hot or stylish or inspiring--she has to go to the other extreme so people will continue to gawk at her. At 34, she's also not "young" anymore, at least not young in the ingenue or wunderkind sense that she relied on for the first few years of Girls. She knows that she is becoming less and less relevant with each passing day and has decided to shoehorn herself into the public consciousness by morphing into some sort of obese, eccentric, "chronically ill" sideshow freak.
